Like An Adder Waiting To Strike

Hypocrisy is one thing I could think of that's really absolute. There isn't any grey in it. Everyone hates hypocrisy. Period. You cringe when you find it in others and you cringe when you discover it in yourself. Don't you feel it's something that's always lurking somewhere in the murky depths of your pride? Waiting to manifest itself and make others cringe on you? I think beating it has something to do with humility. An exercise in humility is the natural offense against hypocrisy. It's about making yourself small - not that kind of smallness that pushes you off the cliff, but small enough to recognise the futility of boasting and the throw of your candlelight, however insignificant it might appear. Truth is, if you exist, you're already making a difference. And we all try to make it a good one.
