My Reason To Smile
Today marked the first day of "Snugs Storytime" in Deltona, Florida. I visited a local After School Facilty, and read "Snugs The Snow Bear" to the kids.
I have to say it was an experience that made me smile. The kids were bright, attentive, and already knowledgeable about Snow Bears and wildlife in general.
There were girls and boys aged 5-9 in the group.
What made me smile? One young boy asked me whether my illustrator could come as well, next time. When I explained he lived too far away, he asked me if I had a photograph of him. A picture tells a thousand stories!
