Oh, that bugs me too! I mean, Doms are people, as you say. When they're endowed with perfect understanding of every eyebrow twitch it's kind of unbelievable. And the tricking into failure seems so mean if it's not agreed to beforehand. Just come right out and say you're in the mood for spanking them, sheesh. THANK YOU! Sometimes I run across a BDSM title where the Dom is either all-knowing and perfect or creates situations for the sub to fail just to punish him (when that's not meant to be the focus of the dynamic; just a way to insert "discipline")...and that irritates the bejeezus out of me.
I mean, to each their own when it comes to kinks if that's what they like to read but I rather prefer when a Dom is human and makes mistakes; that he recognizes those errors when they're his own responsibility. And then does right by his sub to make up for it.
