The Young Alberta Book Society has served Alberta for more than 25 years as a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting literacy and a love of reading among young people in Alberta. The Society coordinates programs to connect Albertan students with authors, illustrators and storytellers. YABS' flagship program is Taleblazers, a month-long literary festival for kids.
