Hi Chris - I'd love to read the prequel story, but the sad fact is, I have no Kindle, no ereader of any kind, and all those various eversions seemed to have their own particular software. Is there any way to just get, well, a PDF or some such? Happy to pay the two bucks. Heck, even five.If there's no way, I understand. Just thought I'd ask.
Thank you so much for all the great books over all the years. It was a great day when I discovered you in the library (with Close Your Eyes, Hold Hands) and suddenly had a dozen new-to-me novels to seek out and enjoy!

thanks for the replies. i also just have a computer. but i belatedly realized that amazon, at least, supposedly has a way to read kindle books on their web site without any device: http://read.amazon.com. not thrilled about supporting these locked-in devices, but i guess i'll have to try it. anything for chris :).thanks again.
I just downloaded it and will try to read it before bookclub tonight. I was already looking forward to The Sleepwalker and I know this will just pique my interest even more!
I can't imagine what that postpartum depression-like feeling is like. I often feel that as a reader.
