Millennials are not a monolith.

I give Millennials shit all the time, but I actually like them a great deal. They have passion. You can’t deny that. My generation, Gen X, had no passion, at least not like the Millennials.

Hell, my son is a Millennial.

I often wonder how we, Gen X, grew up so jaded and sarcastic, then I remember “Oh, right. We were raised by Hippies.”

The fabled anti-Trump protests don’t bother me all that much. I get to tease them, though. We have free speech and you people are so obviously throwing tantrums, oh my fucking god.

I actually know a lot of Millennials irl, and they are just like everyone else. Lots of them supported Trump around here. Some are saying FUCK COLLEGE. One Millennial even told me he wasn’t going to college because “Why would I go into debt for the rest of my life just to be indoctrinated?”

Hm. Now, that’s a thinker.
