Goblins!!!!!
So after a weekend away in Wales I'm back with the sneaky little bastards. This weekend's work requires ensuring that the writing from last time - where the two goblin heroes destroy the giants tower in a huge bonfire - is ok, and then work on their return to the village, being chased by angry scorched giants.
There's a scene I'm really looking to writing where the Wise Wench - our heroine of the piece - receives an unexpected visit from the goblin king, who finds out she's actually summoned him subliminally throughout the day with subtle images and words; as he angrily works out what she's been up to he realises he'd never have come to her if summoned so she was right to subtly draw him to her so she can explain what need to happen next. This just makes him crosser. With a village full of cowardly selfish goblins and rumours of an approaching force of giants only an enormous bonfire and heavy drinking of alcohol will keep their cowardly minds off the rumours. Sadly the king is going to have to open up his cellar to the greedy little swines and won't be happy about it. I'll put up a sample of the king and Wise Wench scene this weekend. Rich
