Aries – Eight of Cups: Walk into your future and don’t look back! Whatever you don’t dwell on past failures. Instead use these as learning experiences from which to create a fresh future filled with potential and possibilities. In many modern decks, the figure walking away into the distance is lit by the stars overhead. The message here is the future is yours to create any way you can visualise it. And you can’t do that if you are looking back over your shoulder at the past.
Taurus – The Devil: What holds you prisoner this week, Taurus? This card has strong associations with the sign of Capricorn. Now, I’m not saying Capricorns are the devil incarnate but what this sign is all about is authority and that includes the ultimate authority which is self-authority and our ability to direct our own path. Be your own boss or be bossed around. Something ‘owns’ you – it could be a job, a relationship or even your possessions. Reclaim self-ownership and change that dynamic!
Gemini – Eight of Pentacles: A new job or the opportunity to gain new skills or resurrect old ones could be on the horizon for you. You could be in the process of starting something up or learning about something that will pay off handsomely for you in the future. You’re also loving the chance to expand your area of expertise or venture into a new one. Financial rewards could form part of this. Enjoy the new beginning.
Cancer – Page of Wands: Get an injection of enthusiasm, excitement and a taste of freedom now as news could provide you with a fresh outlet for your skills or an exciting opportunity. Others could meet this Page in person – a charismatic and out-going younger man who offers romance and adventure. Whether anything more serious is on offer – that’s another matter. But perhaps it’s time to just go with the flow now.
Leo – Death: Uh-oh, I hear you say! Don’t fear the Death card. Sooner or later it turns up in everyone’s readings and it represents a transformation and/or a moving on rather than an actual death. Libra – Eight of Wands: Many readers associate the card with a fast-moving romance as the eight wands flying through the air are linked to Cupid’s arrows. A love affair suddenly taking off or appearing out of nowhere is just one possibility this week, Libra. Others include travel or just moving quickly towards a successful conclusion of something as obstacles to progress vanish like magic. You have a green light from the universe now. Start your engines!
Scorpio – The Lovers: Establish your priorities in love as while this card usually brings romance into your life it can arrive with a choice or a decision attached. You can be caught between two loves for example – perhaps work demands and trying to fit a new relationship into your schedule. The promise that comes with this card can be delivered but you may have to juggle your resources – especially your time so make time for love if that is what you most desire now/
Sagittarius – Queen of Wands: A fire sign woman who either represents you or who is very much on your wavelength. Creative, fiery and passionate she goes her own way and while some people may have problems with her tell-it-like-it-is attitude and independence she figures that’s their problem, not hers. If she appears in your life it will be as a good friend who supports you or as a boss or co-worker with whom you get on with really well. Capricorn – Five of Cups: There’s no use crying over spilt milk, Capricorn. The message behind this card is: Focus. Funny how so many people miss that. But they are so fixed on disappointment that they are failing to see they still have two full cups waiting for them. All is not lost no matter how it appears. Aquarius – Strength: We’re talking soul and core strength as opposed to force. Emotional strength and the gentle art of persuasion are what you need to call on now.
