The Cat and the Cathedral

This afternoon I went to Exeter cathedral to research my forthcoming series of YA books (think Da Vinci Code for kids). Today I found myself chatting to the virger (for some reason that's how they spell verger). Just as well I went in there today because, due to reorganisation of relocating the library, they're shutting off the north transept which I feature quite a bit and making it into a temporary vestry for the next few months.

An extra bonus today - much excitement over birds high up on the south tower. I think they're peregrine falcons.
