Reading and writing.

I find that when I'm writing I have no real desire to read. It would be like carrying two stories in my head at once. Dreaming is going well and I have a lot of the story in front of me but the details have to add up.
Details, details. Sewing the fabric of a story together is a bit like quilt-making. If its not done right - the patterns don't match. Sometimes its like the butterfly effect is in play; alter something early on and the whole thing gets thrown out of whack.
The objective is to try and get it right the first time.
For example: What is the social structure of a herd/flock/mob of drakons. Do I need to use someone else's opinion of their social interactivity or can I formulate my own?
