Q. What is the inspiration for the story?
A. My hubby and I sometimes play “how else could we have met?” I find parallel lives and alternative realities fascinating, so I strove to write a romantic, fun story exploring the outcomes of two opposite choices, answering the “what might’ve been?” question to see if true love really is meant to be.
Q. What draws you to this genre?
A. I write what I enjoy reading. When it comes to romance, I particularly enjoy reading humorous stories that end in happily ever after. For me it was a natural development to write in the Romantic Comedy genre.
Q. This book is part of a series, tell us about your series.
A. Yes! The book can be read as a standalone—no cliffhangers. I decided to write a sequel as—don’t worry, it’s not a spoiler—not everyone gets a happy ending. I fell in love with the character who ends up scorned and had to write their follow up story, with no alternative realities.
