Playing Catch-up

I am so-o-o behind on this!
Okay, LibertyCon Day 3 was so busy I didn't have time to think, much less write about it. Then we drove home (that's about 13 hours), arriving late Monday. I had to wash clothes, put stuff away, and repack. We left that Thursday for Boston for a business trip for my husband. I did a lot of research for a story idea, traipsing around Cambridge, Boston, and Salem.

August and September were so hectic that the only entries to this blog were in my head. We went down to Austin to pick up my car from the shop. Now, instead of a brand-new car, I have a repaired wreck. We had another incident on the trip home and they missed some stuff (e.g. the spare was missing), plus there was a huge scratch on one door that had to have happened at the shop, so it had to be taken to the shop in Arlington to be completed. But we finally got it back.

Early September, I was hired to do an edit on a paper for submission to the IEC. It was written by some electrical engineers in China. I also received and went through the copy edit for EVERYTHING WORKS IN THEORY, which I had sold to Cleveland Writers Press in May (has it really been that long?). Next was FenCon, where my schedule was pretty hectic and I never even had time to crack my computer. I checked email sporadically on my iPad, but that's about it. Then, my husband and I went to Kansas for his high school 40th class reunion (Go Jays!).

QUEST AND FOUND was released on Oct 1, while we were in Kansas.

That, more or less, brings us up to date.
