I like watching silent movies because there’s always that moment when I forget they were made before the Hays Code and am hilariously surprised to see Harold Lloyd flipping the bird or Moriarty straight-up torturing a dude, or even just some guyobviously swearingbecause, hey, the audience can’t hear it anyway.
