Of Kittens and New Words

Good evening, everyone!
I hope that you all have had a wonderful week! It has been pretty packed-full busy for me. But it was productive and I'm ready to start the week all over again! I hope yours is going well so far!
Today, I am writing this post with my kitten, Hadassah in mind. Actually, she's not a kitten. She's a cat; but to me, she'll always be a baby. And the way she likes to play on the treadmill, whether or not it is running, is entirely kitten behavior in my opinion.
Hadassah my cat is the daughter of our barn cat, Angel. She is about five years old, I want to say, and a calico beauty she is to me. She's very quiet, and even when she's stepped on quite by accident, she never really meows louder than a soft whisper's breath.
I know, that was very random news about my kitten Hadassah. has nothing to do with my writing, right? Well, actually, it does. Hadassah is my little writing companion. She sleeps on my bed while I sit at my desk and type away on a keyboard. Often, I turn to her and ask, "What do you think this character should do next?" Her response? Looking at me with that disgusted glare that only cats can get and I can read it on her face. "I'm trying to sleep. Silence!"
Also, another update that I'm excited about. Last week, my blog stated that my Mamma was reading through my next novel that I aspire to publish and was editing it? Well, the great news and update is that she's finished editing it for me this week and I'll start re-reading through it, adding everything that needs to be added to the mixture to the document. I hope that it'll go smoothly. This is the easy part. It was the writing that was hard on this one!
Until my next blog post! I hope that your week is filled with fantastic days!
