Introduction

Greetings, friends and readers!
I'm Autumn Slaght and this is my introduction to my first ever blog!
I confess, I've never written a blog before. Up until sometime a year or two ago, I had no idea what a blog even was! (Even today, I'm still a little unsure of how it actually works…) It's okay, you can laugh and gape at me if you wish. Truth is, I like to be old-fashioned, you can say. So if any of you have any tips on writing a blog, please feel free to share them with me! I'm a complete and utter novice who would love to learn!
Oh...you are probably wondering what I'm going to be writing about. Newsflash: So am I! While I'm finding my wings on blogging, I'll probably experiment with many different topics such as the progress of my new next novel, random trivias or facts about First Soprano; the one that is published, what I'm reading now and thoughts on music and books.
To cover a few of the above topics, how is my next novel coming along? The one who's name remains a secret? Well, currently it's being edited by my mother who was also my teacher for 12 years plus. *bites nails anxiously* Why does the thought of having someone else read my unfinished work make me cringe, make my stomach go upside down and make me nervous?
Right now, I'm only reading one book. It's not even a novel; it's nonfiction. “Captivating” is, well, captivating. The writing style of the writers is very impressive. I love picking it up to read, even if it is as midnight when I can. I cannot wait to read the entire thing and at the same time, I don't want it to be over.
Well...that's all I can think of for now. This is my first ever blog post. Probably isn't worth reading much, but it was my first attempt. If you cringed while reading it, and admitted aloud or silently that Autumn Slaght has no blogging skills whatsoever, you'd probably be right. My only hope is that there is hope for me to learn yet!
Until next time!
P.S. My apologies for the choppy writing style. It's not my norm, I assure you. I'll be working on that in my posts as well. :)
