CA Portnellus Yup, it was a real mess for the fashion industry too. No more silk for lining coats and men's suits. No more silk stockings, or silk underwear for ladies. In many areas around the world, silk was torn out of clothing, blankets, sheets, furniture upholstery, all to give it to the war effort. Amazing! Ps love your books Sarah!
