Aries – Ten of Wands: If ever a card says you have taken on too much and need to lighten the load – then this one is it. While your goal is in sight, if you are too tired to enjoy the rewards when you get there, then you’re missing the point. It could be time to delegate or just refuse to take on any more. There are fabulous new opportunities around you – for romance, pleasure and fun and it would be a pity to miss that. The thing is – you’ve probably already done as much as you can. So either bring in outside help or now let events run their course.
Taurus – Six of Cups: Stuck in the mundane and everyday routine means you could well have closed yourself off to possibilities and the fact that magic can still happen, Taurus. Someone from your past could just re-connect perhaps to remind you of this or suddenly everything just turns out in your favour – just like that. You’re suddenly free and carefree once again and really, this is your invitation to live a little. What appears out of the blue for you now may just seem like a small miracle that invites you to believe in them again.
Gemini – Knight of Cups: Just when you thought romance was dead someone appears to restore your faith in love – or perhaps just humanity in general. Something special is on offer for you now, Gemini and yes, this could be that lover who appears to be someone made to order for you. Or else someone does you a good turn without expecting anything in return. The kindness of strangers gives you pause for thought. If you are on the receiving end of a good deed then pay it forward at some point. If it’s love or an offer you can’t refuse now – don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and question it. Time to ride it.
Cancer – The Emperor: You could benefit from the help of someone in a position of authority and power. If The Emperor appears in person he is reliable and keeps his word. As a lover you need to take this one seriously as he is after that serious connection. Sometimes he represents a situation where you need to act with a certain authority. The Emperor is depicted seated and observing – and this is what you are being asked to do – observe and get the facts before taking action. Rushing in or knee-jerk reactions dilute your authority and get you nowhere.
Leo – Four of Cups: Seeing as we are still in the midst of your birthday celebrations Leo, what isn’t living up to your expectations? A sense of disappointment in how things are unfolding pervades this card but also you may just feel you are stuck in a rut – no matter how pleasant that rut may be. Hang on as a new beginning is just around the corner for you and in fact the first signs of this may already be there. You just can’t see them – in other words, you can’t see the new for the old in the way. Focus on what is right – not what is not quite right and in doing so, you will suddenly see opportunity for change is right in front of you.
Virgo – Four of Swords: The card which says you need some down-time and you need to take it now. A holiday is called for if you can take it. If not, try to take a few days staycation and just relax. Looks like you have been running on empty for quite some time now and the effects of this are becoming obvious. There’s also a need to step back and assess what is working in your life and what needs to change. Chances are you have been putting off some long term decisions that deep down inside you know you should take and would probably benefit from, but cannot quite bring yourself round to doing. Why not? Is it because you fear the unknown and what will happen when you let something go? Chances are you will stop feeling so drained and all you will do is make room for something better to take its place.
Libra – Ten of Swords: Oh dear, Libra. I know this card is not what you want to see but it is important to look closely at it and understand its full message. This card does indeed signify the end of a situation and possibly a painful one due to the figure in the foreground being pierced by the 10 swords. However, we can become so focussed on this highly confronting image that we neglect to see that behind the figure a new dawn is breaking. A painful situation or something that has gone on for far too long now comes to an end with a new beginning and renewal to follow. However, chances are your higher self has been telling you this was going to happen for some time. All you may now be thinking is why you didn’t listen or act on this sooner. When we neglect to make the choices we should for our growth, the universe steps in and makes them for us – usually in a way we don’t like. When you look back it is likely you are going to see that anything that ends now, is actually a release and a blessing in disguise.
Scorpio – The Empress: Long live love now. And creativity. And fun. And pleasure. Something new is born into your world and this can be anything and anyone from a new lover, to a job or professional recognition, to a period where pleasure and enjoyment reign supreme. Creative or business ventures could get the green light. You get that coveted position. Win that heart or contract. You could end up being justifiably pleased with yourself and life in general now. Abandon yourself to the good things of life – and they include showing the world your talents and all you can do now.
Sagittarius – King of Cups: A lover who is worth re-thinking your criteria for could just cross your path now, Sag. Yes, I know you are usually searching for a fellow free-spirit and on many levels this person is that. But they also value home and family too. They are sensitive and creative and on the face of it may at first seem a little too clingy or needy. This triggers your usual ‘Don’t fence me in!’ response. But before you head for them thar hills at a flat out gallop, stop for a moment. A little nurturing and attentiveness may be just what you need. Plus, they can offer you the grounding and stability you are actually in need of. Hold your horses and give them a second look – and a second chance. If he’s not a lover this guy could be extremely helpful to you in business or your career and as a boss may be just the person you want to work with – and enjoy working with too.
Capricorn – Queen of Pentacles: Release your sensuality and your generosity now. This Queen says you can afford to. Others may be the recipients of an earth sign woman’s generosity or she comes into your life to remind you that the simple pleasures in life are often the best – or that you don’t have to blow your budget to sample them. However, if you are in a mood to spend and have the budget, then it’s likely you’ll be splurging on things that feel good – clothes made of sensual fabrics which feel like a lover’s caress when you wear them. Beautiful things for the home. Jewellery. Good food and wine. If a lover is your goal then act as if they were already in your life and dress and treat yourself as they would. It’s a real ‘If you build it they will come’ tactic. Try it and see.
Aquarius – Five of Swords: Pay very close attention to what your intuition is saying about whether someone can be trusted or not. Also take care who you confide in now as they may not keep your confidence. If you have any doubts about someone’s integrity, please heed it now as there is nothing worse than realising in hindsight that your gut feeling was spot-on. I’m the last person to encourage paranoia or suspicion, but if you feel someone around you is ‘up to something’ then the chances now are high that they are. Take a step back, don’t get emotional and observe. Actions and time will show you whether or not your suspicions are justified and chances are, you’re right on the money now.
Pisces – The Lovers: There are choices to be made and most probably around love and romance now. These can range from whether or not to get involved with someone, or whether or not to go deeper into a relationship or let it go. You are going to live with your decisions for a long time to come so think carefully. If you are juggling your priorities now – say work and your personal life, you need to step off this multitask merry-go-round which is doing you no good whatsoever. Dedicate your time so when you are at work you are there 100% and when you are with your lover work is but a memory and your focus is with them 100% and watch how the quality of both relationships improves as a result.
