After a nearly 15 hour filibuster, Senator Chris Murphy successfully petitioned the Republican-held Congress to vote for stricter gun regulations.
He fucking did it.
Finally some news about my state that can’t be summed up by “we have no money." I just hope his efforts weren’t for nothing.
