Quick update from last week: Derek knows he should stake and dust Sloane, but he allows the feelings he had for her in the past to play part in his decision to save her. Only Sloane hasn't connected that the hunter, standing in her kitchen and claiming vampires are real, is the boy she dated in high school ten years ago.
