Coyote update.
Yesterday I went back to the point where I felt things had gone off track for Steve and Doc. A whole 5,000 words back. Then I started again. Some of what I had got twisted and reshaped to fit in the new direction but 90% of those 5,000 words went under the delete button. *sob* But I managed to build back up and did over 5,000 words of new writing so we are, I think, finally moving forward again. I'll be adding more today and smoothing out some of what's there but for now I'm happy again with where we're headed. Of course that could be 'desperate wishful thinking author' speaking. *grin*
Oh, and Tatum is still there. She has a story to tell for sure so it looks like there may be another book in the series after these two. She has ties to Whispering Springs but hasn't been home for years. Well not that most are aware of anyway. *grin* One person has seen her before this shock arrival. Maybe he can answer the 'babies daddy' question?
The best bit about writing Coyote Whispers is that all my old friends are back to play. Quinn, Rowan, Brogan and El all make more than a cameo appearance and the mysterious sheriff, Dale Turner is back too. And wait until you meet Kat. She's feisty. Doc's half-sister is going to give Brady a run for his money in Coyote Lies that's for sure.
And now that I've given you a sneak peek I better get back to them. I've had one trip to the airport interrupt my day and there's another one in a few hours so I better make the most of the time I've got.
