One assumes everyone has seen

The Music Man

and everyone remembers

the great speech

where the instigator

tells the town

the pee rhymes with tee

and tee stands for trouble

so they need a band

to keep the kids out of the pool hall.

 

So when I tell my wife that she is Trouble

and I know this,

because her name is Suzanne

and ess rhymes with tee

she insists they do not

but I say she needs to expand

her definition of rhyme.

 

She says there are rules

but I say we make them
