Inject some color!

We have this thing that we do as a family and actually my best friend, Janey got Charlie and I on to this.  We poke each other (gently I have to add) when ever we see a Yellow Car!  I love it.  Although Janey and Isaac (her son) poke each other continuously when they see a Yellow Bug until it goes out of site, but I had to nip that one in the bud when we were next to a Yellow Bug on the 405 for about 20 minutes... it was getting a little painful to say the least. haha

Anyway, so we are always aware of when there is a yellow car. But what it made me aware of is that there is not enough color in the world.  I look around and see grey buildings and silver and black cars, and then you see everything around you that is just so ... blah.

What is nice when you see all these cars on the freeway that are all similar colors and then you see the bright yellow car in there... its fantastic.  So then it got me looking at my clothes.  Now because at one time I had pink hair it was hard to have different color in my clothes as it clashed with my hair... not a good thing really, but I noticed that all my clothes were the same shade and that there was little color... so that had to change.  Holly and I went shopping and the first thing that she bought were, orange, bright blue, and yellow pants... I love it!!

Now I'm not saying that we should all go out and change our cars or hair color but lets inject a little bit of color. Color makes us feel happy and vibrant and positive.  Its easy to do something with color, and it could be changing pictures in the house, drawing with colored pencils, painting  a wall a bright color, injecting some color in your clothes or accessories.  There is so much that we can do with color and it can help stay positive in life. 

So take a look at what you can do and start the game... yellow cars, shout out a funny word, poke each other (gently) or do something fun... but lets start injecting some life and color in our world!
