The Truth? TMI?

One time I was out of town, let’s call it Denver, at my cousin’s place.

He lived in a big house, with several roommates, one of which was, him, my cousin.

Anyway, I was in town drinking with them and they were all younger than me. I was the old guy at the party, but I thought it was family, so not so weird.

We were playing cards and drinking games and having fun. The reason I was apart from my wife was because of marital difficulties. We were essentially separated.

In the alcohol moment, I mentioned this.

Some guy at the table laughed, said, “She finally came to her senses, huh?”

I grabbed him by the neck and slammed him against the wall so hard it caved in.

Anyway, he was apologetic. The party, though, was shocked at my behavior.

I offered to leave, but said it was up to my cousin, who had invited me there in the first place.

He said I could stay, and I gave him $200 for the wall.

America.
