Writing a New Novel as a Published Author

Good morning, Blog Buds! Although I'm not a debut author anymore, I still consider myself very much a newbie.  So, I can just tell you what I've learned so far.
.
On one hand, writing a new novel is much easier, because there's so much LESS *uncertainty.*
.
One of the most frustrating things about being an aspiring author is having no freakin' idea what really works and what doesn't, and just doing your best to figure it out, and in the end it's like one big insane game of Blindman's Bluff.  I hated that.  It felt like someone was always moving the target and no matter how hard I tried and how much I learned it was by guess and by gollie if I ever actually hit that dang target.  Very frustrating.
.
Nowadays, several good, professional editors are only an email away.
.
On the other hand, now there's a lot more work to do!  Especially as an ePublished author, I need to be prolific.  So, I gotta really crank it out.
.
Speaking of which, I got to get back to it.
