I know the books and tv series took different paths but do you have a reaction to that intense finale?
I, uh, have never watched the show. Sorry! But by ‘intense’ I hope you mean you enjoyed it, whatever it was. I had some idea of what was going on in season one, from readers, but I haven’t heard much from them since then. I wasn’t even aware the series finale had aired :)

You have maybe answered this question previously, so my apologies! But I wondered if you'd had any say in the cast who were chosen for the TV series? I felt the character Elena was very good, and Clay to a certain extent, but I had a bit of a question mark over a few of the others... x

If you haven't watched, then don't. I'd think it would break your heart to see your character's personalities twisted into the people the show made them out to be. I had longed wished that someone like HBO or Showcase would pick up the Otherworld Series and make a TV show out of all of it - there is such a full and rich world there for them to create endless stories without destroying what you started. I was a little disappointed to see that when they finally caught on and decided to make a show that they were only going to focus on the Wolves. Then I watched and was horrified to see how Elena, Clay, and Jeremy's relationship was completely turned around, and how they so completely changed many personalities. Never mind any of the other characters.
I like the TV series, I know that it is on season 3 now. Yes it is completely different from the books, but it is still good.
