Be Who God Made You To Be

“You can be anything you want.” Have you ever heard that phrase? It sounds incredibly inspiring, but it’s devastatingly untrue. It’s a lie. You can’t be anything you want. You can only be who God made you to be.  And to be honest this is really good news because God’s dream for your life frees you to be who you really are, rather than who you think you need to be.

Ephesians 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you.

He hasn’t called all of you to start an organization that fights human trafficking around the world. Some of you are called to be a stay-at-home mom. Or an accountant. And they are all equally important. Life is not about doing great things. It’s about doing God things. Don’t chase a dream he hasn’t put on your heart and equipped you for.
