Monthly Update + Cover Reveal.

Further to the last update, I now have only another 40 pages left on this round of edits after today’s “hobby day” with Joe that also included miniatures painting, crocheting and two episodes of The Magicians (if you’re not watching it, you SHOULD!)

Also, it was really nice to have a break in the middle there where I could focus on magicians in worlds other than the ones I’ve created. 

Currently waiting for the other boy to come home and, in between getting distracted by Twitter and Tumblr, I am getting a bit more editing done. At this rate, I may actually get to write some NEW stuff on Thursday after getting to the end of edits. 

Have now been editing solidly since before Easter and feel as though there is nothing else in the world to look forward to. I’m so ready for some of these books to be out and all the editing to be finished.

BUT! A new cover reveal! I think I got the LotR font in this cover because my books has not just elves and men BUT ALSO a dwarf in it. Pretty pleased with myself about right about now. The sunset is totally gorgeous. I’m actually happy with this whole cover. 

edit: 30 pages to go, and I am mindful of the observation I posted on working harder for myself than during my “at work” days.
