Carefully Zac brought his hand to his neck. It too had a bandage on it, but it was loose and he easily worked his fingers underneath it. Felt the smooth surface of a tube…or maybe two. Gingerly he followed the tubing until…it disappeared into his skin.

He yanked his hand away as if he’d touched fire. These tubes were…inside him??
