Insanity;
you’ve defined it as a doing
the same thing over
and over
expecting a different result.
Then I am nothing
more than
the star inmate snug
in a stark white
jacket.
I wake with an
expectation
to walk the same
path
with no more than hope to
walk a little truer,
hold a little
tighter
with each step
to the path my dreams
demand
