Called on the Carpet
One time, a co-worker of mine told me that our boss had called him on the carpet. I was very puzzled by this information, because I couldn't see how our boss could have gotten the name "Tim" confused with "On the Carpet," which sounds like a name that would be given by those parents who name their children after the places where they're conceived. Some people aren't very good with names at all.

LOL, I gave my parents a D- in "name creativity". Mostly because my freshman year of college there were 8 Jessicas in hall alone. I suppose "Jessica" isn't as bad as "conversion van" could've been. My Dad's teenage bed on wheels! LOL

LMAO! Even so, I think that "Conversion Van" would be better than "In Bed With the Flu," which would've been my name...
LOL, they couldn't have been that sick! Haha! BTW, circulation mgr at my library is arranging a meeting for me with the head reference librarian. I'll keep you posted;)
They told me that they needed to do something to make themselves feel better. The fact that I have been told so many details about my own conception explains so much about my messed up psyche...As to the library - Shweet, thanks!
