I keep reading this series because I want Gideon and Eva to get their happy ending.... these books just keep dragging out though. I gave it 3 stars because it was good enough I didn't DNF it *and* I'll probably read the next one to see how it ends.
Jessica Wirth is starting Captivated by You: Speaking of ambivalence... currently feel compelled to finish this series despite a serious lack of enthusiasm. Let's do this Ace.

Giving this 4 stars because it is officially the least annoying "romance" novel I've read. Good wrting, likeable female protagonist, no annoying pet names / catch phrases.... I'm looking forward to the next. Not ambivalently so, but actually.
