When I started the Summoning, Simon was my intended love interest, with no triangle. Derek was just his difficult brother. By the end of the Summoning, I realized it wasn’t that simple :)

I think one of my favorite parts of the trilogy is that she does fall for Derek rather then Simon XD

Chloe and Derek have been my favorite YA couple since my first read of The Summoning, and probably always will be. I loved how there relationship starts to grow and change it n the first book and continues to do so. To know it wasn't planned makes it all the better! It always felt to me like it just kind of happened, very organic.
