The assumption that everyone is hungry for the same kind of positive reinforcement that you crave can cause problems. Be aware of the impact of becoming emotionally invested before you actually discover some basic core facts about the person, particularly in person. Profile photos are sometimes not a true current reflection- and physical, emotional, and spiritual connection/chemistry can be impacted by the revealing of habits, practices, stylistic differences or something as basic as the way someone kisses.
And for some folks, compliments can trigger feelings and memories of past experiences where such communication was only given as strategy or manipulation.
Want to say something positive? Be specific and consider that less is more.
Take it slow. Ask questions. Listen. And ask yourself-
Is who I’m looking for a reflection of who I am currently engaged in being & becoming? Or, is it based on beliefs from a much earlier time?
Breathe- and above all
Honor your core, your spirit, and your Higher Self.
Perhaps then we truly start to discover ourselves & each other.
Namaste.
