Born and raised in the glorious, southern state of Louisiana, my childhood was influenced by stories told on back porches and long car rides to gramma's house. Like many children born pre-internet, I spent a large portion of my time outdoors, exploring and running wild with my like-minded friends. I was a bit of a tomboy much to my mother's dismay, but was raised on southern manners and sweet tea, and I knew how to act like a lady when it mattered.

As an adult I have traveled a lot but have always called Louisiana my home, and it's influence runs through my veins even though I have spent the last twenty years living in South Texas. I am married with a loving family and live a comfortable life on a small farm with as many animals as I can tal

The book is another fantasy romance and involves Emile, who is a side character in 'That Voodoo That You Do'.
It is due out in the Spring of 2015. Here is a synopsis:
Street Artist and Waitress, Sierra Hamilton seems to be a magnet for the wrong guys. The ‘Mr. Right’ she gets involved with always ends up being ‘Mr. Way Wrong’. You would think that wouldn’t be a problem for someone who’s the granddaughter of a well-known psychic. She is determined that she is swearing-off the typical, handsome, macho guy…but then she meets Emile Larieux. On the surface he’s everything she shouldn’t pick. A dark, handsome, tattooed, musician, and he seems to be full of secrets. But he is kind and generous, and she can’t stop thinking about him.
To complicate things, Sierra appears to have a stalker. Is the person stalking her a harmless admirer, or something more sinister? And why does Emile seem to always show up at just the right moment to save her?

A friend and I were having a conversation about what would happen if a rather straight-laced character found himself thrust into that culture with a touch of voodoo and magic added and so the story came to be.(less)
