Experiencing happiness

I’ve always been fascinated by the heavens, whether it is the stars that decorate the night sky or the white puffs of clouds that depict such interesting pictures as they float by on their blue canvas. Often I find myself envious of the birds that can quickly move about, flying by so graciously.

As a result of such thoughts, I found myself jumping out of a plane at eleven thousand feet and experiencing a peace that I haven’t felt in years. It is however the feelings that begin to set in once b...

Stop Stopping You

Recently I felt down on my luck. I felt as if no matter what I did, nothing would ever change. I was on the brink of insanity and on the verge of giving up.

It was then I realized just what my problem was. My focus was too much on myself. After all the things I’ve given advice on, I failed to listen to what I told others to do. The realization that my own personal brand wasn’t living up to its mission made me sick and with a heavy heart, I decided to put into practice my own medicine.

4 Ways to Beating the Procrastination Barrier

Even the greatest of us all suffer from being caught in a struggle to define ones self in the sea of those around us. Sometimes we find ourselves asking the question of, why am I doing this? Or would anyone even care if I stopped trying? And often these questions can be nearly impossible to answer. Counting stars and Hopeful Wishing

In the face of stupidity it can be hard to exercise patience, it can feel as if life in itself needs to be fixed and you’re the only one who can get it done. We push forward every day hoping and wishing on stars that today will be different, that common sense will make its way into the soul of our nemesis only to be disappointed and thrown back to feeling alone in our pursuit of excellence.

It can feel as if we’re fighting a losing battle while living what Einstein called insanity by going thr...

Turning pro to help others

To turn pro is to take a stand for something bigger than yourself. To turn pro is to take a stand for others who may not be strong enough to be where you are right now. It is to live a life of gratefulness and generosity not only with physical wealth but one of compassionate wealth.

Turning pro isn’t done for fame or riches but instead to set the bar higher. To go farther and higher than anyone else dares to.

Turning pro is to help others know that it can and will be done, that all we have to d...

A Tough Pill to Swallow

Recently I’ve started my week off by publicly announcing one area of my life that I’m going to focus on improving, the tough parts that sometimes seem pointless. In this path of making myself a better person, one week I chose to not let anything bother me. Meaning I would pay attention to the situations within my control, the way in which I would react to the forces outside of my control. A task that at the end of the week shed a really bright light on who I’ve come to view myself as.
