Ground Control! We have a Title!
The Harlequin Superromance team came up with the best title for book one in the Heroes of Fortune Valley series. Breaking Emily’s Rules will be coming to everywhere books are sold in February 2017.
Here’s our hero Stone, happy to get the news …

The Heroes of Fortune Valley coming in February 2017

Stone Mcallister, Air Force pilot, meets his match!
Yes, I’m aware this isn’t the uniform of the Air Force (though maybe they should think about it-?) but this is how I picture the hero in the first of my trilogy of romances.
I recently received dates for release of all three books. First book: February; Second book: July and Third book: October.
I’m working on revisions for book one right now for Harlequin. This book involves a struggling aviation school, a sexy Alpha pilot, a quirky heroine with a penchant for genealogy, and a large dog with a (well founded) fear of doorbells.

An excerpt … Forever with You
I’ve been posting a lot of photos of hunky guys, but Forever with You is above all else a love story. For Riley and Sophia, it was love at first sight. They met when they were both too young, but eight years later they have another chance. Isn’t that what we all dream about? A second chance with the one that got away …
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He went home, took a shower and thought it over some more. Part of the new him, or rather the new man he was trying to become. Thinking. Considering. He changed into another pair of sweats. Still thinking about her. Was there shock therapy for this kind of thing? Enough. Before he could give it another thought, he found himself pounding on her front door. A minute later she opened it dressed in flannel PJs (clearly not expecting him back) and wearing an expression that read: you have two seconds to get this right.
He wasted none of them. “I changed my mind.”
In another second he’d stepped through the door and hauled her up in his arms. He pushed the door shut with his back, Hershee yipping and nipping at his ankles. He didn’t feel a thing, more of a nuisance than anything.
“No, Hershee!” Sophia ordered and the puppy, apparently wounded by Sophia’s harsh tone, went scurrying into a back bedroom.
Sophia wrapped her legs around his waist as he carried her towards her bedroom. “Aw. You came back.”
Once inside, he set her down. She looked up at him, her eyes blazing with desire. “This is just one time.”
He didn’t like that temporary idea, but this was all about small steps with her. Taking it slow. A few minutes ago, he’d had a lot on his mind and so much he wanted to say. Maybe too much, and he realized that the moment he got Sophia naked he would stop thinking at all. Now was the time to tell her, if ever.
She smiled and pulled him close. “What’s wrong? Change your mind again?”
“Not a chance.” He grabbed a fistful of her hair. “You’re stuck with me now.”
“Then too bad for you that I like that idea.” She moved him towards the bed.
“I love you, Sophia,” he said and watched as the brown hues in her eyes shifted and changed.
He didn’t need her to say it back, but he had to tell her. Tell her that from the time he’d chosen to be a gung-ho Marine over her there hadn’t been one single day he hadn’t regretted the choice. Given time, he’d say it all. But tonight he’d take it one step at a time. To lighten the mood, he picked her up and threw her on the bed. She rolled, laughing.
One more thing he had to tell her.
“Let’s get this straight. If we do this, I won’t share you. With anyone.”
Need I say more?
Forever with You releases April 26, 2016
She forgot something on the way to the courthouse …
Sophia Abella has a good life, even if she is a little stuck. Not quite single, not quite married, she’s her large family’s babysitter extraordinaire, but relationships? Facebook status says: it’s complicated.
But when her ex-Marine husband returns to town and takes the job of chief of police, it might finally be time to get that paper work done once and for all. After all, most of her family already thinks she’s divorced.
They’re not actually, in the fullest sense of the word … divorced.
Years ago, Riley Jacobs chose the Marine Corp over his wife and has regretted his decision every day since then. But once a Marine always a Marine, and he’ll use every tactical advantage he has to get Sophia to realize that she’s the only one for him.
Love and marriage … take two
Meet Riley Jacobs, Forever with You
“You were perfect for me only I didn’t know it at the time. Not like I came to understand later. I shouldn’t have volunteered for that deployment. At the time I believed my men and I would win that war. We just had to try harder. More men. More time. I wanted to fight but more than anything I wanted to win. For a long time, I couldn’t give up. But I’m not interested in fighting any more. I’m interested in building bridges.”
Happy Wednesday
I guess you all know what day it is, so I won’t bore you, but today has something to do with a camel.
And this guy wanted to say hi.
It’s a good day here in the Bell household. My oldest just graduated from EMT school and we had pizza to celebrate. Pizza with a delicious garlic sauce and chicken. It’s called “chicken masterpiece” and it is.
Hey, also, Unforgettable You and Forever with You are coming soon to all platforms – Kobo, B&N, iBooks, Google Play. Unforgettable You any day now and Forever with You on pre-order any day now everywhere but Amazon (I’m still in Amazon jail) and releasing April 26th.
Here’s a small excerpt quote from Forever with You (this is Riley, our hero, an Iraq vet):
“At the time I believed my men and I would win that war. We just had to try harder. More men. More time. I wanted to fight but more than anything I wanted to win. For a long time, I couldn’t give up. But I’m not interested in fighting any more. I’m interested in building bridges.”
“So … you want to be an engineer?” She grinned, ruffling his hair.
“Metaphorical bridges.” Then he kissed her, a long and deep but tender kiss that he could only hope showed her more than told her about the future he wanted with her. Full of kids and dogs and whatever else she wanted because all he really needed was her.
New Year, New Series
I’ve got news!
I have accepted a three book contract offer from Harlequin. In 2017, I’ll be bringing you a series centered around ex-Air Force heroes, their lives and loves. First up is my pilot hero, Stone Mcallister, whom I’ve been crushing on forever. I can’t wait for you all to meet him.
As my Starlight Hill series winds to a close with Forever with You, it’s inspiring to have other plans in the works.
I’ll still be self publishing as “time permits” (ahem, cough cough) so please keep in touch and do let me know if you’d like to see anything in particular from me. I love to hear from readers!
