The 19th Amendment of the U.S. – on August 26th, 1920 – 96 years ago today the 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (ratified on August 18th 1920) was proclaimed as part of the Constitution of the United Stated, guaranteeing women the right to vote. Legendary Women
Love this site - excerpt from their About page…
We believe that what women and girls see in the media shapes their world view and their self-image. Positive images can inspire us to become more than what we thought we could be, while negative images can cause us to limit our belief and confidence in ourselves. We need to promote those portrayals and highlight those heroines that make us feel Legendary.
Legendary Women, Inc. is an organization devoted to promoting the empowerment of women*, both in the media and in their everyday lives and endeavors.

It is a unique space designed by teens, for teens where they help each other and share their concerns and experiences.
Valerie Grison (Give Us The Floor): Give Us The Floor’s vision is:
If teenagers can share their difficulties freely and safely with their peers, then there won’t be any more stigmas or taboo subjects for them to struggle with, and they would believe in themselves and in their future.
