We're back. Limping, bloodied, but back.

We were hacked. Again. I have since done a completely clean install of WP, which has left us with some issues with the site and feed. it's late, and I'm traveling, so I will get to fixing the rest of the site when i can. As near as I can tell, the links at Murverse work (this is my home page where you can get ALL of my podcasts, not just ISBW) work now, so you can check there for your ISBW fix while I scrape together time to get the rest of this five-year-old blog fixed.

Brilliant Character Post by Charlie Jane Anders

I love io9, but I especially love it when Charlie Jane posts. I have hung out with her in person a couple of times (I'll always remember pie and WorldCon 09, Charlie Jane!), and she's nothing short of brilliant. I was delighted to read her post this morning about characterization and the "F*** Yeah" moment. (I try to keep this blog clean, but that's the title of the post. If work or kid situation doesn't like you reading stuff like that, be warned the word is spelled out in the article.)
