ISBW Video Podcast #006 - Book Trailers

In this podcast I experiment with a new messy room in my house- the office. I discover the lighting is terrible, but I KEEP GOING.

Also, David Wellington was ISBW #111, not 112. My bad. I need a fact checker…

Visit JC Hutchins’s site for more innovative marketing. And remember, learn from people who are original, but don’t directly copy them. Make your own awesome.

ISBW Video Podcast #5 - Live from Stellarcon!

I report live from StellarCon, 09, in this. It’s the last day of the con. I’m tired and having just returned from the Worst Panel in the World. My new friend, the Black Plague, is with me. John Cmar on camera, Ursula Vernon in charge of the art, and Kevin Sonney in charge of awesome hats.

Someone has to be.

Battlestar Galactica is Over

Need I say that this post will contain spoilers? Cause it will.

The finale would have been better if it had just been this image on the screen for 2 hrs. 11 min.

I agree with many of these opinions, so I’m not going to rehash them here. I’m going to talk about my two biggest issues.

In short- I didn’t like it. I’m going to come at this from a writer’s standpoint, not a fangirl’s. See, I’m trying to learn this craft, and although much of writing

Heaven Season Five: War - Get the Inside Story!

Long-time listeners of Heaven will know that the promised final season of the series, War, has been pushed back about six months. I’m currently writing it, after outlining, and it’s going well. I have some awesome things planned, including custom art by Natalie Metzger! I have it slated for a June 1 release.

(And hey, if you’re at Balticon this year, you might want to attend my reading… just sayin’…)

But then I thought, why wait till June 1 to release it? Why not see if people will be interested i

Fingertips: Who Is That Standing At My Window?

Fingertips: A Flash Experiment, is a project where I’m writing a different flash story for each bit of the They Might Be Giants’ “Fingertips” songs from Apollo 18. See info here.

Who Is That Standing At My Window?

Princess Penelope Peppermint was the softest, prettiest, most delicate princess in the land. Knights flocked to the land to prove themselves with dragon slaying. Dragons flocked to the land to snack on all the knights who sought to slay them. Fairies blessed and cursed her daily.
