This one was tough to do. I'm pretty closed to as privileged as you can be (I'm a female non-Christian, that's about it), so the chances to offend/get something incredibly wrong are large. But that's the point. People are afraid to write about other races, other genders, other sexual orientations, other ages, other nationalities, because they're afraid to get it wrong, afraid they will offend someone. But it needs to be talked about. It needs to be written about. It makes you a better writer because you work will better reflect the world we live in, and it will make your work available to a wider audience.
