The REUNITED…blurbage!
From the national bestselling author ofThe Departed comes an all new novel of danger, intrigue, and a love stronger than death…
AN ETERNAL DESIRE
With his strong psychic ability, FBI Agent Joss Crawford longs for the woman he loved in a past life. But after years of searching, a new case is drawing him into the last place he’d ever want to find her: an underground slave ring. Going undercover to infiltrate the network, he meets Drucella Chapman—the mastermind’s fiancée. Joss has every reason to believe she’s evil. So why is he irresistibly drawn to her?
A DANGEROUS GAME
Drucella has made it her personal mission to bring the slave ring down. But the sadistic ring leader is even more careful than he is cruel. In order to gain information, Dru has had to get close to the very man she wishes to kill, using her gift to read his memories bit by bit. She’d do anything to finish the job, but agreeing to marry him may have been a step too far—even for her.
A FATEFUL ENCOUNTER
Though Joss and Dru are both undercover, nothing can disguise the sense of déjà vu they experience when they meet. Neither can afford to be distracted from the mission at hand, but perhaps their reunion is exactly what this mission needs…

Midnight Rider…Saturday Snippets…
I’m not here. I’m in Michigan. Going to sign books. Come see me!
So, a bad boy hero. Hmmm.
The baddest I’ve got is the one who wasn’t going to be one, and it’s not really a romance.
Okay, so he’d spoken two sentences there. “Okay…so what’s with you?”
His hand shot out and I found myself plastered against him two seconds later. “You stayed.”
“Damn it,” I snapped, shoving against his chest. Hard and hot, my hands slid against the smoothness of his flesh without budging him an inch. “What did you think I was going to do? I barely even know where I am.”
“You’re a little fool,” he muttered.
Then he buried his face against my neck and I shuddered.
“I never know when you’re going to show sense or do something that will end up with you dead…or worse.”
I could feel the heated puff of his breath against my skin and damn it, that shouldn’t feel so good. It shouldn’t feel so good at all.
Asshole. Territory. He was asshole. Territory.
I couldn’t…
My breath hitched in my chest as he lifted his head, staring down at me with eyes that burned. Storm clouds shouldn’t burn so hot. But his eyes did.
Couldn’t breathe, couldn’t breathe—
He dipped his head.
Oh, shit—
But he didn’t kiss me…read more about Blade Song…

How about a cover tease with my Friday…13?
Instead of a 56, I’m doing a 13. It’s the 13. I’m doing the 13th page. The 13th line. And here’s the cover.
It’s a snippet, starting at the 13th line, from The Reunited, due out in January.
If there were any ghosts to be found, they were up in the newer part. Not here. Not that he could really see any ghosts, but that remnant energy was just a buzz that a lot of psychics were sensitive to and he wasn’t feeling it here.
His phone vibrated again. And again, indicating that whoever was calling was not giving up. Scowling, he pulled it out, thinking he should have left the damn thing in his car. But old habits died hard.
It wasn’t a surprise to see Taylor Jones’ name pop up on the screen. But why in the hell was the boss calling him? He had a few days off. Not that Taylor Jones would let a minor detail like that get in the way.
Instead of answering it, he hit ignore and went to text him.
Busy. What’s up? Once he’d sent the message, he brushed a few leaves off the stoop, some debris. Once he’d almost brought flowers.
But he hadn’t. Because something–not a memory exactly–but something…
I would rather see the flowers growing than to have somebody cut them so they wither and die…
Want to do the 13 on the 13th?
Post the 13th line from the 13th page of whatever book you have handy!

My signing in Michigan…Clarification!!!
HEADS-UP… I had a very confusing HEADER on this post the other day, so I’m reposting… I leave for our trip on Thursday, but the actual signing on Saturday… it’s the 14th, not the 12th!
Vacation was awesome. I’ll post random pics and stuff for a few days. Just a heads-up, signing in Westland, MI.
Details…
Signing with Erin McCarthy
7.14.2012 1-3pm
Westland, MI
Paperbacks N’ Things
8027 N Wayne Rd.
Now…some pics.
We went to Pennsylvania and New York. The first thing we did in Pennsylvania was visit the Flight 93 Memorial, where one of the planes went down on 9.11. I hadn’t known this, but the guide told us that if the plane had been in the air even a few seconds longer, it probably would have hit the small town just a short distance from the field where it crashed. :(

Coming up…Blades and Books
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THIS BOOK. THIS STORY IS ORIGINAL AND HARD-HITTING WITH TERRIFIC WORLD BUILDING AND SOME OF THE BEST CHARACTERS I’VE READ. YUM.

Blades and Books Blog Tour…
I carried a picture of Doyle in my back pocket.
I’d made a copy and tucked it in my pocket the day I accepted the case.
Maybe it was silly, but I wanted to remember what I was risking my life for. Who.
A kid.
A nervous, scared kid who wasn’t even sure he could survive the change from human to were.
He had blond hair, sleepy-looking eyes and the promise of what would be a killer smile. So much promise. And what was more…he had kind eyes. The kindness in his eyes hadn’t been lost on me.
It seemed that the cat shifters could use with more kindness in their ranks.
Chang had seemed the decent sort. A few others hadn’t been too bad. But most of them were caught up in the power play and it pissed me off that somebody who might have been one of the nice ones was lost to them.
I knew his face now. He was mine. I’d do everything I could to find him and if I couldn’t find him, it would be because there was nothing left to find.
On the way down to the cold floor of Banner HQ, I slid my hand into my pocket and tugged out the picture of Doyle, rubbing it with my thumb. I didn’t look at it. There was no need. I knew his face well enough now that I could draw his picture. More than once, I’d found myself doing just that.
He didn’t look like his aunt.
Queen Bitch.
Would death be kind—?
No. I can’t think like that…can’t, I can’t, I can’t….
A hand came up and closed over my neck as the elevator doors opened. The people trickled out, but before we could follow them, Damon hit the button to shut the doors and then he just held it. “Are you trying to push yourself into a panic attack?”
So, starting on 7/15, I start a two week blog tour and I’m giving away a prize at the end of it all. Blades and books. Now the contest isn’t open yet, but it will be soon. Want to see what you can do to get an extra entry?
Post the button at your blog, and when the rafflecopter entry goes live, just get that info added in and you’ve got extra entries.
