Excerpt of the Recipe BONUS Section in the box set (one of the 13 recipes shared):Cassie’s Peruvian Pork Loin with Spicy Rice (Peruvian Tacu Tacu)Nobody’s HeroPork Loin:Dry rub (Cassie uses a rub with powdered aji panca, salt, and brown sugar)2 lb. pork tenderloin (two loins)1/2 cup beef broth1/4 cup orange marmalade1/2 cup orange juice1/4 cup port wine1 tablespoon cornstarchInstructionsPat the meat dry and coat with the dry rub, then put into an uncovered glass oven-proof baking dish. (If you line it with foil ahead of time, it makes it easier to clean later and you can use the foil to wrap the meat after roasting.) Place dish of uncovered meat in refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours or even overnight. In medium bowl, combine broth, marmalade, orange juice, and port wine together; pour over pork and return to refrigerator for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Turn pork occasionally so all sides are coated by the sauce. Remove from fridge about 30 minutes before cooking.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place dish on center rack and bake pork with sauce until thoroughly cooked, about 25-45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches at least 150 degrees F. (Kally always errs on the side of caution when working with pork! Use a meat thermometer. Temperature should rise as much as 10 degrees after being removed from oven and 160 degrees after a few minutes resting is ideal.) Remove from oven.Cover meat to keep warm. Pour juices/drippings into a small saucepan. Add cornstarch. Bring to a slow simmer, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened.Uncover and slice meat to desired thickness.Serve with sauce poured over meat or on the side. Cassie’s Spicy Rice (Peruvian Tacu Tacu)1 cup dried brown lentils (7-8 ounces)7-1/4 cups water, divided1-1/2 teaspoon salt2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic, divided6 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided1 cup long-grain mix of white and wild rice1 small red onion, finely chopped1 tablespoon bottled ají amarillo or ají mirasol chile paste
In a heavy, medium saucepan, bring lentils, 5 cups water, and 1/2 teaspoon salt to a boil; simmer, uncovered, until lentils are just tender (about 12-25 minutes). Drain and transfer to a large bowl. In another heavy, 2-quart saucepan, cook 1 teaspoon garlic over medium heat while stirring for about one minute.Add rice to garlic pan and cook, continuing to stir for about a minute. Add remaining water (2-1/4 cups) and 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and cook over low heat for another 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Let covered pan stand for about 10 minutes, then using a rubber spatula, stir rice from top to bottom before adding to lentils mixture. In a heavy, 12-inch, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, sauté onion and remaining teaspoon minced garlic in 1 tablespoon oil until onion turns a golden color (approximately 3-5 minutes). Add chile paste and continue to stir 1 minute. Stir onion mixture into rice-lentil bowl.In same skillet, heat oil over medium temperature until hot. Add rice-lentils mixture and fry. Use spatula to gently flatten until golden-brown crust forms on bottom (about 3 minutes), then stir rice-lentils and fry, flatten it again, until once again a golden-brown crust forms (another 3 minutes). Repeat frying and flattening until the crusty bits are dispersed throughout the dish (perhaps three more turns, or 9 minutes, for a total frying time of 15 minutes). Serve hot with Peruvian pork loin recipe, above.

Not necessarily characters who live and breathe the club scene several times a week, but more those who live the lifestyle on a day-to-day basis from one end of the spectrum to another. Even those who don’t enjoy reading kinky books have found these to be enjoyable, compelling page-turners, I think because the kink is not the main focus of the stories. I dig deeper into these people’s lives and emotional issues. I also use kink and any other methods available to help characters heal from the hurts of the world.
My books don’t have predictable, cookie-cutter plots. Even though a book is in the same series, you can expect different heat levels and story/plot/character lines that fit each couple perfectly. Just like in your own family, these people aren’t after the same thing in the same way and each has a personality of his/her own.I’ve been writing full-time since May 2011, having quit my “day job” the month before with no new job in sight. Luckily, readers latched onto these characters and continue to think about them long after a book is published, so you won’t see this series come to an end. (And I do not believe in killing off main characters, so Adam may someday be about 90 but he’ll still be alive and ticking.) With more than a million copies of my books on e-readers around the world and two have hit the USA Today Bestseller list (NOBODY’S PERFECT and NOBODY’S DREAM, the last release), so readers are still wanting more.
I live in rural Kentucky with my hubby of 32 years. Mr. Ray (as he became known by fans at KallypsoCon 2014) provided me with my own Happily Ever After despite having sworn off marriage and men at the age of 23 after a childhood of abuse. Funny what love can do to us to change our perspective, isn’t it? That theme comes up in my books time and time again.
We have two adult children, one adorable grandson (Master Erik, who makes frequent appearances on my Facebook timeline), and a rescued dog. (Our daughter moved home while finishing training for a new career and brought her rescued cat back with her, too!)

It’s great to be back. We’re back in Canada to help my parents finalize everything before the move. Their moving to Dublin to be closer to us, and we couldn’t be happier, especially Jayden. We missed them.
Jennifer: I bet, that’s wonderful news. Speaking of Jayden, how is he coping with all of the changes? He must miss his father.Jenna: He does, *fans face* it’s just too bad Tyler won’t come around.Brady: T’is his loss, love. I’d luv te clatter im in the jaw fer hurtin’ the two o’ye.Jenna: Can you see why I love this man so much? That’s part of the reason we’re here as well. I was hoping to see Tyler before we head back to gain some closure. *Jenna looks at Brady lovingly and caresses the side of his face* just me and Jayden for now to give him one more shot to make amends. I owe Jayden at least that much I think. Tyler is his father after all. Jayden loves Ireland though. In fact, he already has Brady’s parents wrapped around his little finger. Although, Shelby certainly gives him some competition in that department, she’s only a few months old and she already knows how to charm people.Brady: O’ course. She’s just like her ol’ man. As fer Tyler, I can give ye space te do tha’ if ye need it but, swear to Christ Jenna the gobshite better give ye fair play.

Although, I blush every time I get to the intimate parts. Sam gets a kick out of it, and makes sure to tease me. After mingling a little, the partygoers drifted outside to the yard, and Jenna leaned against one of the large French doors connected to the house while Sam went to fill her plate with goodies. ExcerptWhile trying to gather my senses, one of the bags slides from my arms and crashes against the concrete, causing both bottles of wine to shatter, and the dark liquid to spread into a puddle.
“Shit! Real smooth, Izzie.” Bending down to collect the glass, my face flushes with embarrassment. The stranger crouches next to me, his long legs folding in a way I wouldn’t have thought possible for such a tall man. On our knees, gathering glass, we’re the same height.
“Careful.” His voice is warm and thick, laced with a Northern accent. Somehow he makes the simple word sound like music.

Author Interview
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp? In Fading Memories the message is that one can recover from grief, and a broken heart. This can be a struggle for some people, and I hope that they can take away a portion of this book and enter it into their lives. Our hearts will be broken, and in time they can me mended. It only takes that one person to bring you back from the darkness.
What are your current projects? I’m currently finishing up a new series called A Taste of Love, the first book that will release late November early December is Frosted Sweets then I’m back to finishing up Seth’s story from The Chances Series.
Do you see writing as a career? I just left my full-time job over the summer to focus on my writing career more. The hope is that I can continue to build relationships with readers, and bloggers as I write, write, write.
If you could say anything to your readers what would it be? Thank you. The support that I receive from them is amazing and if it wasn’t for them, I would never have continued down this path.
Do you prefer to write alone or do you like to collaborate with other authors? Currently I have only written alone, but I do hope to collaborate with other authors soon. I would love to see how this process works.
When you are reading a book, who is your favorite author? Colleen Hoover
Do you come up with the cover or does someone else do it? Oh my … Covers have always been a fun aspect of writing for me, as they have just happened with ease. Fading Memories was the hardest cover to design. I had a vision of this one years ago, then as the story changed the vision changed. I was lucky that a friend helped me find the perfect image and the designer was able to portray what I wanted.
What book if any would you want to be made into a movie? Oh this one is hard. I would have to say either the Chances Series or Fading Memories.Everyone uses computers, tablets, phones and no one uses handwritten form or typewriters, what do you prefer to use? I write notes and build the storyline in an old fashioned spiral notebook, when out and about I will write notes on my phone. Then I transfer them all into Word, I only write the story on the laptop and then save save save.
Is there a ritual you do everything before you begin your book? I have to make sure my music is ready, I either have a huge cup of coffee or drink. Slather my lips with Chap-stick and the type away. Oh and I have to have Twizzlers.
What do you do when you finish your book and turn it in to the editor? I will read it over, send to betas, make corrections and then close my eyes as I send to my editor. I’m always worried that everyone will hate what I wrote, and freak out until I hear back.

There were times to think and times not to think. Like now. Gage shut his eyes and held her. For a minute, he pretended Keven was safe. They were safe. That everything was normal. He inhaled Lainey’s scent, the feel of her breasts beneath her jacket. His hand traced the curve of her hip, the swell of her tight, round ass. Sweet Carolina, she felt good.

“Now who’s teasing?” he asked thickly.
“I’m not teasing, I’m begging.” This lip brush had a little tongue action.
He trembled. He’d told her she would beg for him.
“Isn’t that what you wanted?” She licked his lower lip. “Me to beg?”
His mouth was on fire. “You don’t know what you’re saying.”
“I do, Gage. This time, I do. Make love to me.” Her eyes were a rich, dark chocolate, heavy-lidded with passion. “I need to forget everything for a little while. Celebrate being alive.” Her arms went under his shirt. “No strings. No ulterior motives. Just two people taking comfort from each other.” Her jacket sleeve was slippery cold against his skin, but her fingers were hot as they grazed his belly, his nipples. He shivered.

Chapter One As soon as the front door closed I was out of my chair and watching from the window as my girlfriend walked down the path, heading for work.Once I saw her reach the end of the road and get in her friend's car–the same friend always picked her up–I made sure the doors were locked and headed up to the newly converted attic. Being alone had given me all the peace and free time I had wanted, yet, niggling at the back of my mind, I found myself thinking more and more about what Sally and her friends talked about, especially the lingerie. The way they used to describe the different feeling of different materials against their naked bodies, the items and colors of lingerie they would wear, what they wore for what occasion, what each different piece made them feel like; it all used to have me getting aroused more and more often.

Thirty minutes later we hear a knock at the door Mrs. Ryan yells up that she will get it. I figured it’s just our Chinese being delivered. I'm setting the plastic on the floor so we can start painting after we eat. Just as I finished setting everything up I hear Mrs. Ryan screams out. I ran to my bedroom to grab my phone and the gun they made me keep beside my bed. I hid myself in the closet as I called Mr. Ryan, on the second ring I heard him answer.
"Hey, how are my girls doing?" He sounded happy
"Someone's here, I'm in the closet with my gun like you told me to do. I heard a scream! What do I do?" I rambled nervously.
"Calm down Kyler... I am calling the Police in Arco. I know your father taught you to shoot. So you go downstairs and if you think you need to shoot, then intruder then that is what you do." He sounds a bit nervous.
"Okay, I got it." I say then hang up the phone.
Sneaking down the stairs, I see a man is holding Mrs. Ryan against the wall. Mrs. Ryan makes eye contact with and I hold up one finger to see how many people are in the house. “YOU AND ME ARE THE ONLY ONES HERE ASSHOLE! LET ME GO NOW!” She screams and I just nod at her. The intruder slams her head against the wall again. I tiptoe into the rest of the way down and sneak up behind them. I place my gun to the back of his head.
“The guns loaded and the cops are on their way. Now let Mrs. Ryan go or I will shoot you before they get here.” I say as calmly as possible.
“I don’t think you will actually shoot me.” He sounds extremely pissed off.
“I am going to give you to the count of three then I will shoot this gun!” I wait a moment to see if he will let her go. Damn it, he is going to call my bluff! “One… Two… Thr”. He let go of Mrs. Ryan before I got three out. “Now turn around.”
The man slowly turns to look at me and tries to take the gun out of my hand. While fighting for the gun I can feel a pain starting in my stomach, oh no it’s too soon. Damn it Ky you know better than this. With one hand on the gun I knee the man in the nuts and steal the gun back away from him. I back away quickly and when the man starts to come at us I pull the trigger.
