BrooksBlog: The Last Druid Postponed Until October
Dear Readers and Members of the Shannara Community,
As many of you may have heard by now, the release of The Last Druid has been postponed. The decision was made by Del Rey Books, but in all fairness I had lobbied hard over the past two weeks to see it happen. It makes no sense to me to release a book that will conclude more than forty years of writing all the previous books in the series when it would land in a vacuum. Postponed: Emerald City Comic Con
Emerald City Comic Con has postponed the convention that was supposed to take place this upcoming weekend. This is due to COVID-19. It is best to help keep people of all ages and health-levels safe. You can read their press release about this matter here.
That does not mean it is cancelled. ECCC is currently looking for a date in the summer. Terry may still be able to attend the convention if he is available on whatever date they choose. More on that in the coming weeks.
