Lynn is guest participant at Albuquerque's Bubonicon convention!

Well, I'm doing it again. I will be a guest panelist/participant at the Albuquerque Bubonicon Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention August 23rd-25th. It's a very old (1969 is think), convention with some very fun and intelligent panels, costume competition, gaming, autographs, dealers and art rooms etc.

Writing the sequel...still

There is always something getting in the way of writing. Lately it's having to re-write my will and get complicated tax information to my tax accountant. I did write a fun "scene" involving Merlin, Katch and....a camel. A wizard, a teen and a camel walk into a bar....... NOT REALLY. It is a fun scene in which Merlin is teaching Katch to better use his powers. Hope to get back to full-time writing very soon!

Catching Up

Well, summer is over and late fall has set in...at least in Albuquerque. The last Covid booster made me terribly ill for about 3 weeks, then my beloved kitty Michonne was ill.....then insomnia kicked in. Just now getting back to writing the sequel to "Futurus Rex", entitled "Futurus Rex: Entrusted"

It is more dense and plotted than the original book. Lots is happening and King and Queen of Gritania Arthur and Aliena are cooperating with friendly beings in The Enchantment to upgrade and better the kingdom. Of course there are new enemies and all will be more challenging both physically and emotionally than ever.

I plan to write throughout the holidays. Wish me luck!

Attended Bubonicon SciFi/Fantasy convention!

Had a great time at this long-running Albuquerque Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention.. Was on writing panels and co-judged their costume contest.. signed the book etc. all fun and helpful!

Making progress on my sequel!

Yay! I've completed the outline for the sequel to "Futurus Rex". It's really shaping up. Readers can go inside the Enchantment (sort of the land of the Fae) and discover a BIG secret hiding there and I continue King Arthur's journey in a strange new land. He and love Aliena as queen have established a wonderful, properous new kingdom but, of course, somebody wants to put a stop to it. Very soon I can actually start writing the novel!!!

Picketing for the Writers Guild!

Next week I should be somewhere in Albuquerque picketing local productions on behalf of the Writers Guild of America-West of which I'm a member. This is sooooo important! Besides fighting for a fair share of the streaming networks' vast earnings, we are trying to make sure that future scripts are NOT written by machines!! An A.I. program simply can not include appropriate human emotions etc. That takes a HUMAN BEING!

Been sitting at my desktop all day making a new list of all of my usernames and passwords for EVERYTHING! I'm dying... need to get a better chair!!!
