June is Adrian Phoenix Month at Paranormal Haven
Today marks the start of Adrian Phoenix month on Paranormal Haven! Check out their site (or my blog) for a schedule of events.
Also check out their new banner which Athenna created to honor the event. The very cool background page is also a quote from Dante: Le coquin qui vole a un autre, le diable en ris. (When one thief robs another, the devil laughs.) said when he found some of his stolen property in Annie's possession.
Today also marks the start of the Book Bloggers Anonymous Book Club read here on Goodreads of A Rush of Wings. I'm thrilled and excited!A Rush of Wings

Bitten by Books is featuring The Maker's Song series in their weekly book discussion, and I couldn't be more thrilled! Join in for your chance at prizes and to let your opinions be known. I'll be joining the discussion off and on all week.
Welcome to our Weekly Book Chat. We have decided to move from daily to week long chats to give everybody time to come and chat and get more in depth into the conversation. Let us know how you like this new longer format.
This week we are discussing The Maker’s Song series by Adrian Phoenix.
To read a reviews of these books click here.
Please remember to identify spoilers, especially if they refer to events later in the series.
1.) Both Heather and Dante are fascinating leads in this series. Do you enjoy how their story is unfolding through each book?
2.) The atmosphere in this series feels like a character in it own right. Which aspect do you find the most fascinating: the angels, the vampires, or the shadowy mortal world?
3.) Who is your favorite secondary character in the series so far?
Books in the The Maker’s Song series in the order they should be read:
A Rush of Wings
In the Blood
Beneath the Skin

A fun interview and review of BLACK DUST MAMBO is up at Paranormal Fantasies

BLACK DUST MAMBO REVIEW
It begins with an especially vicious hoodoo murder. Not only did the victim suffer terrible anguish during his death throws, but when his body died so did his soul. Such hoodoo soul eating magic has come from a strong practitioner. Who could it be and more importantly why was it done? The man who died was Kallie Riviere’s lover. Fairly soon it becomes clear that she was the intended target. Could it have something to do with her hoodoo family connections and her dark, tragic past?

Norwescon 2010 in Seattle
I'll be at Norwescon April 1-4 and looking forward to a good time. I'm on some fun panels with some great writers - Jeanne C. Stein, Jaye Wells, Mark Henry, and A.M. Dellamonica - to name a few. I hope to get my copies of their books signed. *grins*
I'll also be doing a signing at the con on Saturday and, later, a reading from BLACK DUST MAMBO.
I'm meeting up and rooming with a dear writer friend from British Columbia, so I'm very excited about that!
Since I tend to get lost in my travels, I'm borrowing my son's GPS unit to guide me with (hopefully) minimum confusion from Springfield to Seattle. I'm also hoping that it has an "avoid zombie road-kill" feature as well. Hmm. I might need that inside the con. LOL.
I hope to see some of you there!
