I think Lady Gaga is cool
I don't get around much, so it took me longer than everyone else to get around to seeing any Lady Gaga videos. Her music isn't the style I listen to, considering the music that I compose as Queenie could probably be considered the polar opposite of Gaga. Nevertheless, I admire her a great deal as an artist. Her voice doesn't seem to need autotune, she's a fun entertainer, she's a genuine musician's musician (unlike many other huge pop stars such as Madonna or Britney Spears), and she...
New Look for 2BHG
You may have noticed that I had to change my WordPress theme for this blog. The old one was Ambiru & the trouble with it was that stuff was very hard to find. The few links that I actually post here were nearly impossible to locate until you scrolled to the bottom and it was difficult to find old posts.
I hope you will like this new theme better.

Alaffia Shea Butter Cream
Recently I've become a little paranoid about slathering chemicals and potential xenoestrogens on my body–I'm already a vegetarian of the type who endeavors to prepare mostly organic food, whole grains, buying in bulk, etc.
The problem with my favorite Bath & Body Works sorts of fragrances is that they are fairly chemical-heavy. I was just looking at a body lotion I have from their Signature Collection and the ingredients are on the "probably causes cancer/endocrine dysfunction" list....

The irony is not wasted upon me as I type this blog post one handed because my left arm is occupied by Kiki having her 3rd spoiled-princess-kitty shoulder nap today. It's kind of sad looking at the plastic voodoo representation of yourself in 25 years.

Faux Bangs
I ordered fake clip-in bangs from eBay in dark brown color. I really like them, because they are straighter and softer than my real bangs. They cost about $14 and are made of real people hair. They don't look completely real, but I like them anyway.

I am growing my hair down to my butt.
I used to have short hair in my early 20's.
Also was known to have worn medium length hair, but because my hair is so thick, it just never works out well.
I've decided to grow my hair until it almost touches my butt–basically I'll stop when it reaches the small of my back. I have never grown it that long b4. There's about 8 inches to go.
