With Venus now retrograde in your sign and Mercury arriving in shady motion (3rd), it’s time to fine tune that image, Aries. You are at an important point of rebirth and resurrection now. Ruler Venus is now retrograde in your house of the past. Mercury also lands in here this week (3rd). And it too is slowing down in preparation for a retro of its own mid-month.
We have just come out of one major retro cycle to enter another one. I am of course talking about Mars retrograde which started last December. And impacted your confidence levels as well as your 4th/3rd houses. Mars is now direct once more in your 3rd house of communication, getting around, business, studies and the internet. As well as ruling siblings, cousins and neighbours.
Something unfinished receives a Get Out of Retro Jail Free card on the 8th. When the Sun in Pisces and your 11th recharges Mars. News you have been waiting on could arrive. And you get a green light to move ahead again. Or something you imagined had flat-lined receives a jump start. Even a past connection or lost opportunity thanks to Mercury’s angle to Pluto in your 10th (5th). This is the first of three passes Mercury makes during its retro-cycle. And yes, Venus is performing the same manoeuvre.
Whatever you do however, don’t go seeking out the new. It’s all about the revival, reboot or return now. But anything that re-emerges from your past over the next six weeks or so does so not simply due to you keeping the faith. What’s the real deal behind that dream?
The question hanging over the retro-filled cosmos this week is how much do you really, really want something, Cancer? And just what are you prepared to give or devote to it in order to have it?
If your heart isn’t truly in it, if it honestly doesn’t deserve your all, then do stop and ask yourself not just about your continued investment, but also why you want it at all? Say you want to become an influencer. During this big fat retrograde cycle which will cross and re-cross your success sector and also your house of expansion, luck and freedom, there’s no better time to look at what you’re really hoping for. Free stuff? Lots of followers? Money? Fame? None of those are bad things. We work we expect the rewards.
But is there something else driving you? Go deeper ahead of Neptune landing in your 10th later this month. It’s the old ‘so that’ exercise. ‘I want to be an influencer so that . . .’ So that everyone who made me feel excluded in high school now sees how popular I am. So that hot Barry who laughed when I invited him for coffee spends the rest of his life regretting that. And so on.
Of course you can use your own goal or ambition here. This is just an example I’m using to send you down the path to uncover the emotional drive behind what it is you want to do or attain. Because there always is one. From having your family/partner take you seriously – to attempting to heal past hurts of rejection or feeling not good enough. When we know what’s driving it – we can go to it and meet that need. And then guess what? We are then totally free to go crush the dream anyway. If you want to succeed – go directly to the need. But you need to know what that is first.
Retro season allows you to make more than one foray of exploration to uncover this. And then release yourself into a new success cycle which begins at the end of the month. And PS Cancer – hot Barry wasn’t really that hot. Or smart if he said no to you. Take that with you. Time to upgrade.

No more retro madness – just retro badass!
When a planet retrogrades in either its ruling sign or a ruling house in our charts, we need to prepare to be a retro badass rather than succumb to the madness. Mercury enters Aries and your 6th house. Which it rules along with your ancient ruler Mars – thankfully direct in your 9th.
But what this tells you ahead of Mercury in full reverse in this house from the 15th, is that you need to be very organised, set clear priorities and above all – stop the rush. Despite arriving retro-shadow ready, Mercury is in a rush to get things done. Yes, its pro-active vibe can see you tackling those tasks and tying up loose ends. But don’t skip steps in your desire to get things done. Because this will only lead to mistakes and you having to go back and do it all again.
Both your rulers old and new are in the frame this week. Indicating you are in the mood to get things done. But also that you’re unusually impatient. Stuff which you would normally ignore may niggle you more than usual. Keep a firm grip on whether or not this truly matters in the grand scheme of things, Scorpio. But do set priorities for this cycle. And forget multitasking. A laser focussed one thing at a time approach is what turns that madness to badass. When Mercury aligns to ruler Pluto in your 4th for the first of three times on the 5th – this is the perfect date to implement anything that defines your work/life balance.
There’s been a strange, dragging, stuck cycle especially around your trajectory, path, ambitions and purpose that has made forward progress difficult since last December. I’ve written a fair bit in your monthly forecast about feeling you have been erased from the bigger picture. Especially when it comes to what you do and what makes you shine and stand out. That sinking feeling you’re invisible. Or that the cosmos employed some AI edit tool and simply removed you. Some of you may have become aware of this during your birthday cycle last year. It may not have served the usual boundless optimism of new beginnings that you expected.
Others may have been experiencing this for quite some time. Short term, this has been caused by Mars retrograde across your 9th/8th houses. Long term – Saturn restricting you in Pisces and squaring your Sagittarian factors. Take it that despite the build up of retro weather in your fabulizing 5th – vanishing acts are over. This week marks your relaunch and re-emergence from being relegated to being just an extra in someone else’s big production.
No, we’re not ignoring preshadow Mercury in your 5th from the 3rd. It joins Venus already in here. But Mercury’s angle to Pluto in your 3rd (the first of three), points to re-emergence or your come back. Due to the retros – this may be a process. But take it that is has begun.
Feeling seen, stepping back into the sunlight again, feeling that the doors to life are re-opening or simply the energy flowing forward again, restarts that fire within you. And sees you radiate once again.
By the month’s end you will be done with being overlooked. This week also brings a welcome change around resources or your living arrangements as the Sun in your 4th trines Mars in your 8th. This is another matter which may take 6-8 weeks to finalise. But that light is at the end of the tunnel, Sag. Prepare to shine again.

Get ready for a big decision
Know what you can control, and what you can’t – release
We are in Cardinal retrograde season and also the year’s biggest shift will take place in Cardinal Aries and your 4th house at the end of the month. This tells you that you are approaching a life-altering change. And that the slow down or resistance you encounter has been sent to help you ease into this new cycle. It’s not there to block or restrict you as you may think.
Cardinal factors square your natal Capricorn ones. Hence that feeling of needing to push or make that extra effort. However, you need to know when to adopt an attitude of acceptance and just let go. That doesn’t mean giving up and adopting a fatalistic approach. Just knowing when you have done all you can. Or else accepting there are certain things you simply cannot control.
Your resources are something you CAN control however. As well as your emotional responses. Venus is already retrograde in your 4th. Mercury arrives in there this week – in preshadow. It will reverse on the 15th. Both planets make highly beneficial angles to Pluto now in your 2nd – and more than once. Combine this will the Sun in your 3rd igniting the power of Mars’ love in action in your 7th, and you have an opportunity this week to control the outcome in a key area. A decision can be made or you see a way forward in a partnership matter.
All this before the retro barriers are raised. At which point acceptance of the things you cannot change – and the slowing down of what you can, allows you to lean in to an even bigger one ahead around home, family, path and lifestyle at the end of the month.
In a nutshell: A door is opening to a higher path. But what you see as a slow down may simply be the universe’s way of giving you time to adapt. Accepting there are certain things you simply can’t control frees up your resources to concentrate on the things you can.

If Mars retrograde across your 7th/6th houses and Pluto now in your 1st decided to form a band and have an anthem – chances are it would be Karma Chameleon. This resonates with what’s happening in your chart on so many levels. First – well, Buddha himself told us karma is so complex we can’t possibly understand it. So, it’s a chameleon in itself. Yes, a relationship can be karmic in nature. But figuring out just what that is – and why, is another matter. Just whose karma is it anyway? Yours or the other party’s? That in itself can be camouflaged.
Pluto tells us to keep its energy very ‘clean’. When we don’t – it eventually blows up. ‘Fallout’ in other words. Boy George talks about how the song deals with issues around trying to be all things to all people. Sucking up and being afraid to be yourself or stand for something out of a fear of alienation. Chameleons are seen as symbols of transformation. But yes, there is the other side of hiding true colours to blend in. Or deliberately mislead by becoming something someone needs.
With major retrograde planets in Aries and your 3rd (Venus and now Mercury) making angles to Pluto multiple times, an upcoming Mars/Pluto opposition and a major energy shift from Neptune – planet of hidden truths, hopefully you are serving your true colours, Aquarius. And you successfully resisted becoming ensnared with anyone who wasn’t a cleanskin on an emotional level. Mars is direct again now, but you do need to steer clear of anything that would fall under ‘It’s complicated’. Or that you wouldn’t want your mum, your boss or yes, your current partner, to find out about.
Comings and goings need to be addressed. Especially if this has been an on again/off again pattern between you. And is taking its toll emotionally. Look to the 8th to tackle this. However, if there is still karma to be played out that former lover could return. Your one rule for the upcoming cycle – red, gold and green but nothing shady.
In a nutshell: Others may show you their true colours now. While Pluto in your sign tells you there’s only one way to acceptance and real love – and that’s serving you real. Don’t feel you need be anything but that in order to get what you want.

There’s something happening on a grand and epic scale for you, Pisces. And it extends long past this year’s birthday season. Fate, destiny, karma – whatever you prefer to call it, is at work. And you will be more aware than at any other time of fated events and milestones appearing on your path.
Choices and decisions await you. And due to eclipses and also major retrograde weather heading your way, you need to take your time with these. Ruler Neptune is also poised on the cusp of changing signs. A move that is going to impact your money, possessions, property, income, assets and relationships you can ‘bank’ on. Keep in mind that Venus now retrograde in your 2nd is ruler of all these – and more.
Mercury makes a temporary exit and enters your 2nd (3rd). It’s in Schwarzenegger mode and it will be back by the end of the month. Time to balance the books in your life and set those values before the arrival of Neptune. Especially if you not knowing where the money goes has been an issue for you. Look also to who or what you spend your most precious but intangible resources on – your time, talents, expertise and love. These are things to be treasured and protected. And not wasted on those who don’t appreciate them. Or where there is no reciprocal giving in return.
Get very clear about who or what adds value. And also your finances. Deal with debts and come up with a plan to clear them if you owe money. Come up with a ‘spending plan’. Seek professional advice if necessary.
Wants and needs can be two different things. Focus first on your needs. And for now, put the wants on the back burner. Since last December romance, creative ventures, hobbies, children or even having fun may have been subject to stops/starts, frustrations and disappointment. Mars retrograde in your 5th tends to make things fizzle out. Or you simply don’t feel the way about something you once did.

With Venus retro this isn’t about the new – this is the old or existing getting a heart-starter. It can be your love for something just as easily as someone. Jump start into what adds new meaning and real value.

Your Aries Supermoon Moonscopes – Radical Changes
Your Full Supermoon in Aries Moonscope October 17 2024
Self-assertive, brazen and confident, this super-sized full Moon leaves no room for self-doubt. It packs surety and favours a bold approach. This is a full Moon ready to face something head on.
It can, however, lead us into acting impulsively. And without first thinking through the reactions of others. So by all means – go a little bolder. But not without keeping in mind that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Thank you, Sir Isaac Newton. So, take it if you set something in motion – the apple doesn’t fall far from the original tree.
This full Moon is known as the Hunter’s Moon. In the Northern Hemisphere, it marked the beginning of game animal hunting. A Supermoon occurs when the Moon’s centre is less than 360,000 kilometres from the Earth’s centre. It can appear up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter than the average full Moon.
This Supermoon will make a high tensile angle to Aries ruling planet in Cancer (the Moon’s ruling sign), and then another one to Pluto in Capricorn. This will form a T-square. This can cause a build-up of emotions that results in us acting impulsively in our desire to release the emotional tension. The trick is not in repressing or denying what we feel. But in how we express this. Just understand that no emotions are ‘bad’ or ‘negative’. They are valid. We are valid to feel our feels. But we are responsible for how we act on them.
This is a full Moon under which to tackle anything outstanding. To push something through to completion with confidence. To tackle that issue that’s seemed so daunting. Harness your courage and conviction. And take mindful action.
ARIES
Your emotions are heightened, and anything you’ve been suppressing or keeping on the down-low demands release. Ensure you focus on what is really going on with you, Aries. And understand that with ruler Mars slammed by this moon, all energy has to find an outlet.
If we ignore this or try to keep a lid on it, the energy tends to explode, but in a completely different direction. We may have been sitting on resentment around home or family, for instance, but continuing to seethe rather than talk about it. Suddenly, someone pushes in front of us in the supermarket queue, and we go ballistic at them. This Supermoon asks you to not only keep it in proportion but direct it where it needs to go.
Don’t ignore your own feelings. But also – don’t allow them (no matter how justified), to override the feelings of others. Time to open that dialogue and really listen, Aries. Jumping to conclusions doesn’t serve either party. Make clarity your goal no matter what.
Your superpowers of fearless warrior of love are ignited. Of course, deep in your bold heart what you seek is what’s best for everyone. As this Moon also harnesses the power of Pluto hours later, do use this to push ahead with anything that is linked to career, ambition and elevating your status. Keep your focus on one outcome. Be this close to home or elsewhere. A clear perspective sends your boundless emotional strength right where it needs to be. Channel it, Aries.
TAURUS
Whether you know it or not – it’s decision time, Taurus. Are you dragging your feet or ready to make one?The full Supermoon in your 12th points towards intuitive-led action, Taurus. And this is around something you have known needs tackling for quite some time. You’re receiving nudges. Or should I say a push? From the angles between the Moon and Mars in your 3rd. And hours later, Pluto in your 9th. This is about what holds you back, confines or blocks you in some way. It’s persisted for a while. As has that feeling, you need to take control and act. No matter how uncomfortable this may make you feel.
Every aspect in the sky is always interlinked. And this Supermoon is no exception. It’s no coincidence in terms of cosmic timing that all this occurs with Mars in retroshadow and Pluto poised to change signs. It tells you no more thinking – you’ve done that. It’s time to act. Especially if deep down inside you know allowing things to simply carry on isn’t doing you any good.
This Moon + Mars + Pluto = release. Something must now be let go of. This includes past pain, trauma and allowing your past to define you. In order to make way for true healing. It also asks you own what no longer works or has passed it Use By date. Acknowledge it and let it go. The card of the Four of Pentacles in the Tarot shows someone with a lot. But they are holding on to it so tightly, they have stopped the flow. Look to where blockages are under this Supermoon. Yes, Pentacles rule money. And the Supermoon in your house of friendships, connections and your future slams two planets – Mars and Pluto, across your money sectors. But what is stopping the flow of the new or you accessing the resources you need can also be emotional factors.
Have you been spending too much time in hermit mode? Holding on to memories of the way things were? And in doing this unwittingly put up road blocks which prevent new people, love and other opportunities reaching you? Sometimes we just have to let go of our attachment to the past to make room for our future. And often, if we are clinging to the past it is because we have told ourselves that the good times won’t come around again. Not so, Gemini. Not with Jupiter in your sign.

But the figure is so intent on holding on, they don’t realise how close this is. Or that it is even an option. All they have to do to move there is turn and let go. That’s your move, Gemini. Simple.
CANCER
This is the penultimate full Moon to appear before Pluto leaves your 7th house. It’s going to prove to be pivotal for you in terms of your relationship status, your personal ambitions, your career and reputation. Especially as it hooks in Mars in your sign. And Pluto several hours later.
It asks you for certainty, Cancer. To know what you want and where you are going. To be the boss of your life. To lean in and own all your decisions that have brought you to this point. And to be honest about what you need to do next. And not shy away from that.
Serving your best game could be part of this. This Supermoon is in your house of ascension and status. Some of you could find yourself in a ‘front of house’ position. Or asked to step up into a role where you take on more responsibility. If so, don’t give in to impostor syndrome. You’ve earned this.
If you are still waiting for someone to give you permission to act or tell you that you’re ready – stop. The only permission you need is yours. Now is the time to act, take charge, apply, ask, pitch and launch. Or make your move. Something may come to completion now. You crush a long term goal. You arrive. Doors open wide. A success cycle completes.
Just understand you of all signs under this full Moon need to have one eye on the future when you take action. What you do cannot be undone and has long term implications. Who makes it happen? You do. This Supermoon tells you it’s no good to wait for things to happen. You need to take action to bring solutions and opportunities to you. Being held in place by needless fears about what could happen or feeling Here be Dragons sees you stuck. Who told you about the dragons anyway? Are they even qualified? Did they really go there and see? Did they write a manual on dragon training? Look to where you may have unconsciously taken on someone else’s limiting beliefs. Based on nothing but fears that actually aren’t yours.

What are you feeding, Virgo?! What we direct our energy towards feeds it. And that’s good when it comes to those connections which support us and our goals. But in a way that makes it impossible to ignore. Or do something about.
Getting out of your own way, being unafraid to act in your own best interests, and letting go of worrying about what others think are your gifts. As is a demonstration by the universe as to the power of your mind when it comes to manifestation. Now you see all this Virgo – and take it this is Pluto’s parting gift to you as it prepares to exit your 5th for good, you also know with unshakeable certainly that where your energy goes, real results flow.
