The Sun arrives in your house of communication on the 22nd. But ruler Mercury is retrograde in here. That’s your first heads-up to zip it.

Then the 23rd has the Sun sextile Uranus in your sign, while Venus also in Gemini squares Mars in your 4th. Keeping a lid on it may be challenging. Or you end up in one of those situations where you realise you unwittingly voiced those unedited thoughts. And no amount of back-peddling on your part can take them back. Despite retraction being a ‘re’ word. Unfortunately redaction only covers what’s written. There is no Sharpie available for what’s said and done.

All due caution needs to be applied to going anywhere as well. Both your travel houses – of short and long journeys are impacted not just by Mercury retrograde, but also Pluto in your 9th. And these do include renovations and removals. However, unless you are now locked in to dates, do approach these with caution. And factor in possible delays, snafus and total reversals – another ‘re’ word.

Although renovations are included, unless you are undertaking these yourself, a Mercury retrograde in your home sector isn’t a good time to go looking for that tradesperson to undertake the work. The job can be delayed, it may cost more than originally quoted or simply not live up to expectations. It’s about a stocktake of whether your current living situation, lifestyle or even family dynamic is providing for your needs in the long term. Your new cycle is days away. But this week slows you down to contemplate rebooting a previous version of you. Maybe Leo 1.0 was discarded too soon? This is something different however.

Yes, you can – time travel!

Overseas friends and dreams recur under a Mercury retrograde in your 11th making an angle to ruler Venus in your house of far, far away. Big goals and perhaps even a yearning to return somewhere you have visited in the past. Or a cycle of the past where you felt at your most outgoing, radiant and daring. Yes, you can revisit. And I’ll detail how to do both in a moment.

The usual retro rules apply. When travelling any distance. Even if setting out to meet friends. Reconfirm. Double check. Allow for extra time. Old friends no matter where they hail from could be in touch. But let’s now look at revisiting far, far away or that faraway so close goal or period in your life. After all, retrogrades rule ‘re’ words and these include return.

So let’s talk retrograde travel. Back to places you have been. Or that era. Or that big dream which remains unfulfilled. Each has its own rules. Revisits to actual places or making plans to do so are not retro free excursions. If you are embarking, then play by the retro rules. Planning a return trip? Hold off on booking for now. Situationship? Stagnationship? Or that relationship that refuses to clarify exactly what it is. The ambiguationship or um-friend. Uranus brings not knowing to a close if this has been a theme during its transit of Taurus and your 7th. Uranus can see our partnership status change with little warning.
