It’s major retro weather this week. This despite Mercury arriving in its ruling 3rd in your chart facilitating communication and ruler Mars in your 12th from the 13th. The 11th sees Saturn slow down the Now Age as it heads backwards in your future focussed 11th. It will eventually pay one more visit to your 10th during this cycle before leaving it for good. Past friends but also reimagining what you want for the future based on what you have learned from your past, are part of Saturn’s homework now. Jupiter, planet of opportunity, learning and expansion, now heads backwards in your 10th from the 15th. Which is of course the sign Saturn rules. So, career progress may slow and opportunities may be harder to find.

Jupiter rules long distance travel and foreign affairs of all kinds. So, when the ruler of all this heads backwards, it usually means nobody is going anywhere which is pretty well what is happening in the world right now. Also, dealings with people or companies far away are likely to go awry. Like any other planet, Jupiter slows down before heading full retro and has a retroshadow period. The big retrograde for you is of course, ruler Venus retrograde in its ruling 2nd from the 13th. Love is on hold for all of us now. Venus rules your 7th house and this week also sees Jupiter turn retrograde in here. This basically adds up to travelling back to revisit past loves – at least in your mind or in a socially distanced way, but anything new is on hold now.

Saturn also retrogrades in your 8th on the day that Mercury, very much in forward motion for the rest of this month, arrives in your 12th. Time is going to feature in some way. This could offer the opportunity to re-boot the passion in personal relationships. This isn’t about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. But as Saturn which rules your 10th, also heads backwards in your 6th of work and wellbeing, you may be measuring up the pluses and minuses of that work or professional path.

Venus retro in any house puts love on hold or throws up issues around your current one. For you, this really isn’t the time to embark on any new romantic connection even while distancing, as you also have Jupiter in your 5th of lovers heading backwards on the 15th. Then you have Saturn also heading backwards in your house of romance, holidays, children and creativity. Travel is of course, off the table for us right now so I don’t have to caution you about taking precautions if heading overseas.

I should also not need to emphasise, that starting any kind of partnership venture – be it a personal or a professional one, should be deferred for now if possible. However, past loves may simply return on their own schedule. That is if they are meant to.

Anything to do with property matters – your house, flat, apartment, buying, selling, renting or leasing property, may feature even if an actual move is not happening. You may be looking at where you want to hang your hat in the future. And even consider returning somewhere you have lived in the past. Or is it a past life location that is calling?

Changes, transformations, rebirths and resurrections feature. It doesn’t matter what house Venus heads backwards in.

Just like a Mercury retro, there are retro rules you need to be aware of. Your 8th is your ‘other’ money house. Venus rules your bank account so salary, mortgages, loans, shares, maintenance payments and payouts may be in focus but if you are negotiating these, talks may stall or go round and round due to Jupiter backwards in your 3rd.

Basically, avoid taking on new financial commitments if you can. And steer clear of starting an affair of the heart even long distance like over the internet, if you want to protect yours. If you are not happy with how or where you live, use this time to come up with a grand design for your future. Sure, none of us can move at the moment even if we want to. And now add to that the need to wait until Venus goes direct once again and also next month’s Mercury retro cycle is over if you can. With Saturn, Jupiter, and Venus all retrograde, this weeks flavour is the return of the ex. That is to say we have a full-on week as we enter heavy retrograde weather.

It’s the return of ex-lovers and ex-work colleagues. As a result, old experiences resurface. Therefore, unresolved issues from the past can now be healed. What past experiences enhanced or blocked our progress? We can hop aboard the galactic energy and banish our ghosts.

Did you know you are naturally clairvoyant? There’s a lot of confusion out there about the term ‘Clairvoyant’. It literally translates into ‘Clear seeing’. Don’t be confused by the term. It’s your goddamn goddess-given right to tune into your own clairvoyance

Some folk associate being a clairvoyant with being a medium but they are two totally different skills. You don’t have to chat to those passed over to be a clairvoyant.

Being clairvoyant is the ability to see things or pick up messages, symbols or energy. Being a clairvoyant is literally seeing deeply into the present and having glimpses of the future. So who doesn’t want to do that? 

Clairaudience and Clairsentience

We are all intricately linked and have more ability to sense what is really going on around us than we are probably using. Many of us also have clairaudience (the ability to hear verbal messages from our guides) or clairsentience – the ability to sense energy, moods and feelings that people and places put out, but we may still either not think of ourselves as clairvoyant or else shy away from exploring our fabulous innate ability.

How to be a good clairvoyant!

There’s no doubt some people are naturally brilliant clairvoyants. However, I believe clairvoyance is like any other psychic skill – to be a really good clairvoyant and get better and better we can increase our clairvoyant abilities by practice! I also believe in dissolving the mystery that surrounds so many psychic skills so here are my top tips for developing your particular brand of clairvoyance in an easy peasy way. Try them all – but you may find one works better for you than the others. It’s all about trying and seeing what works and turns you skills on.

1: Practice seeing auras.

Clairvoyants can usually see auras and these give them an amazing amount of information about the subject and what is going on in their lives. The trick here is to begin with something static. All living things have an aura – that includes plants. If you have a houseplant this could be a good place to start. If not, go outdoors to a park where there are planets and trees.

Plants also don’t move around which is another reason they are good to begin your aura-seeing practice with. Sit quiet and centre yourself. Focus first on the plant – and then on the space behind it so you can still see the plant itself but it moves into soft focus. Don’t stare or remain fixed on any spot.

The object of this exercise is to let everything slide into soft focus. After a while you may begin to see what appears to be a denser yet still transparent line of energy surrounding the plant.

This is the aura beginning to emerge. It may take a while for the full aura to appear but if you can see a ‘line’ enclosing the plant, you are off to an excellent start! As you practice more, colours will eventually begin to emerge and you will also be able to do this with animals and people who are moving around. You can also purchase aura goggles on line which many people claim to have had great success with.

But no matter which method you choose the secret is in the soft-focus and practice, practice, practice!

2: Open Up Your Third Eye.

Sit comfortably and make sure you won’t be disturbed. Close your eyes and relax. Imagine you have a third eye right between your eyebrows. Imagine this eye slowly opening up. What colour is this eye? Practice this because it tells the universe you are ready to open up your third eye and begin to receive messages via it. Again, don’t push things or expect instant results – although this may surprise you! Keep practicing and you will soon see your abilities expand.

3: Tap into crystal power!

Lapis lazuli or clear quartz are associated with clairvoyant skills. Place a small one on your third eye when you meditate (obviously in a reclining position!) to boost your abilities. With crystals however, it can all boil down to the one that ‘calls’ to you.  No matter what it is – this is the right one for you! The most powerful one I have found is flourite but use with caution as it can be extreme!

4: The most powerful clairvoyant lesson of them all!

Think about someone close to you and sense their mood right now. Predict something you feel will happen in their life and write it down. Predict a specific event that will happen in your life, again, write it down. When the phone rings, tune into your psychic ability and without looking a the number predict who is calling you. Practice every day slipping into your own innate KNOWING.

To conclude

There’s no big mystery around developing  clairvoyant skills. Just as we practice with the Tarot we can practice opening up our third eye and enjoying the extra-insight this gives us. The key is being open-minded, third eye wide open and yes – practice, practice, practice!

Being a clairvoyant is your natural right. The media may still depict clairvoyant’s as kooky but we all have the ability to be ‘clear sighted’ so pump up those clairvoyant muscles and pay attention to the messages that are already within you!

Weekly General Astrology Forecast April 27 2020 – Communication changes

Mercury rules commerce as well as communication, so expect financial, money matters and markets to be hot topics of conversation as it arrives in the sign of banking and bullion, Taurus.

Taurus is ruled by Venus. The planet of love and sometimes love which comes under the heading of ‘It’s complicated’, also rules our relationship with our money, possessions, assets and the material world in general.

Isn’t it funny how just as in our personal lives, our relationship to money can also become complicated too? Mercury’s arrival in here on the 27th gets us thinking and talking about this.

Mercury rules the mind and just like love, our ideas about money can become fixed or even outdated. These can have been handed down to us by others – family members, teachers, people in positions of authority, set by a bad experience or setback, or even be ideas we unwittingly brought in with us from past lives. Our expectations and beliefs as well as our values play a major role in the love and money we feel we can attract or have.

Taurus is a fixed sign and once it has made up its mind, it is very hard to change it. It prefers the status quo. Even if it actually doesn’t really work any more.

Taurus is a sign known for remaining in relationships or situations long after say a Sagittarian or Gemini would have thrown up their hands in horror and left Dodge in a hurry.

Ideas around money

So, this week asks you what ideas around money or values you are clinging on to that no longer really work or are true.

Mercury takes the emotional charge out of money matters if there is one and allows us to examine it rationally. Our money does not determine our worth or lack of it.

If we are struggling with money issues this is no reflection of who we are and it does not say anything negative about us. Yet we often feel it does.

For instance, we may avoid talking finances with our partner because we feel it is ‘unromantic’.

Mercury in a Venus ruled sign tells you this is simply good housekeeping. And also that arguing about money (or ending up in the divorce court due to differing financial viewpoints) is about as unromantic as you can get.

Currency is another word for money and Aquarius and its ruler Uranus (which is also in Taurus right now) is linked to electricity and ‘current’. So, this week says make a trade when it comes to your ideas and story around money. And plug into a new currency of abundance as you do!
