When we are hurting our ego likes us to make others hurt too, but by carrying bitterness, anger and resentment, the only person you are hurting is you. So try to let this go, practice forgiveness which will, in turn, free yourself and try not to cry over spilt milk.  I know this is an old cliche, but everything happens for a reason, and one day you will look back on this and be thankful it ended as there is greater for you,  so dust yourself down, pick yourself up and remember the show must go on.

As 2016 draws to a close (Trust me it’s been a challenging and thought/emotional provoking year for us all!) the universal energy influence is gaining high momentum and having an impact on us all in different ways, family dynamics, financial implications, relationships or generally a feeling a sense of unrest.

From my personal feelings and experience this time of year can lead us to look at “what we don’t have” or “what we think we should have” heavily influenced by the media, social media, our environments and mostly our sense of self. “We can choose to take away ideas and inspiration not idealism from the media and society in the holiday period.”

Something we can all look at from this time of year is that it’s a transitional period for our energy and sense of self, we have Christmas as the date of embracing ourselves and nurturing the people we share our lives with. We then have the New Year period a time for reflection but also projection of what we want to create in 2017.

During Christmas time we often can focus our energies on material gestures to show our loved ones how much we appreciate them, this is great in its essence, but we can show them we love them and appreciate them with gestures as well as gifts.

We have the opportunity to look at what the people in our lives mean to us and focus the energy on what would make them happy, the meaning behind our gestures is what actually stimulates all of our energies and reaffirms the connections we have with each other.

So, for example, a sensual candle or patterned scarf may have much more sentiment than a piece of jewellery. The environment and energy around us has the potential to be important and beautiful so have people around you that lift your vibration and lift theirs in return.

Show your love and care and think out the box. Try unique gifts which are not just for show, for example you can give small chocolates that are quirky in design as oppose to bigger, flashy and fancy truffles?

This may sound rather glib but it’s about focusing and shifting the energy from money on to what matters, Paying attention to love and the energy of the person you are giving to, size and money doesn’t necessarily mean more!

We also have the opportunity during Christmas to nurture ourselves! (I think we all forget this)

We can spend time with people who energetically lift us, if we choose to be alone at Christmas we can wear what we want! Eat what we want! Watch something that we love on TV! Its about keeping the balance of nurturing ourselves and others and making the most out of a day that fundamentally about appreciation for ourselves and others.

Then we have the New year period the time of social gatherings, planned midnight moments and “out with the old and in with the new” mentality. The New Year period is personally one of my favourite days of the year absolutely for those reasons but also the energy shift dynamic of that day and the opportunity for reflection and projection for the new year!.

We can all get hung up on what we don’t have or could have done better which is healthy for us in some ways I would say, but we can make the most of this day by looking back at 2016 and focusing on how we have grown, experienced and gained.

We can do this is so many ways such as soul growth, family dynamics, career progression, friendships, travel, new interest we have taken up and any changes we have made (There will almost certainly be something for us all). We then get an opportunity to project for ourselves into 2017 and what we want from it. Great ways to do this are visualising, manifesting, communicating and planning.

Its an opportunity to look at what do we feel about ourselves, what can we improve, what can we carry on doing. My personal intuitive perspective of 2017 is it’s a year of seeing the bigger picture in all areas together and in acceptance (of ourselves and others) depending on how this plays out for us as individuals is about gaining understanding and awareness of ourselves

We can check out our astrology, personality traits, situations, dreams and desires then look at our current situations and decide “what`s working and what` not working” and proactively work with these to development.

The New Year is also a fantastic time for us to engage in psychic readings as it’s a time of motivational energy and a great time for us to gain clarity and for sight to provoke changes for ourselves – “Be your own magician.”

During this period of high energy please remember to ground, be good to yourself and appreciate you, a lot of high energy that is there for us all to utilise not get overwhelmed by.
